I believe that I have long covid and it miserable...i have no idea if I will be able able to accomplish anything during the day or not. All I want to do is sleep...and my taste and smell senses are almost gone. We need more attention and more research done on this.

Uhhh, what are you talking about? I'm in a 4 year long Covid 19 study through my local university being run by the NHI (which last I checked is a federal institute?) in conjunction with Mayo Clinic and I believe Harvard. I give blood every 3 months, I do tests, I do exams, I do surveys, they're talking about taking a fat and muscle biopsy from my stomach for it (that I'm willing to do if it'll help everyone). I am getting my DNA spliced up and analyzed. The federal government IS working on what is happening, which will lead to how to treat it. We're working on it. I'm helping. Chill out, man.

The two names likely describe the very same condition. However, it's possible that the severity of the ME/CFS symptoms suffered by some long Covid patients is worse than what some CFS patients have experienced. That said, even pre-Covid, there was already a wide range of symptoms associated with CFS. Some people need a nap or two during the day, but work full-time. Others are bed-ridden.

I don’t think there is any difference. I think it’s a case of some people for whatever reason take longer to recover from viral infections. I’ve never heard it called Long Flu but the flu virus can do exactly the same thing.

So sad. Florida has a website where you can download a form to request an exemption and the reasons are very simple (one is religious objection) and employers are not allowed to question you. If only other states would protect their citizens in this way.

U know I'm fully vaccinated and haven't had covid at all that i know of. I contribute it to using hand sanitizer 70% rubbing alcohol constantly as we touch our face hundred times a day.
