My 21 year old son took his life in 2006. This song was suggested to me as comfort. I bought the Sheltering Tree CD by NewSong ( where this song is found). I listened to it continually for 3 weeks. John Trimmel so sorry John, I know similar pain. My sweet Mom became zombie & killed by taking Valium (a benzo like Xanax), I was 16.. Only Jesus gives me hope and faith to carry on..

Good song. My Dad died not long ago, and went to be with Jesus. My sons and grandchildren are gone living so many miles away in another state. I can't see them anymore. Most of my family is gone. I'm homesick for heaven and Jesus. I want to go home. :(

@Shannon77785, Just wait until your purpose has been fully served for Jesus, and then He'll call you home. Trust Him, he knows what is best, always. Allow Him to guide and keep you until your time is finish. Someone, somewhere, may be influenced by you to accept him as their Savior, too.
