I went to school with a very quiet, introverted, nerdy, girl who was also a beautiful person with goodness glowing from her smile. In the 5 years of secondary school the only subject where she got less than an A on a regular basis was for Art. Everyone knew she would go to Trinity and excel in whatever she did. I met her about 10 years after we finished school and she was working as a language teacher in Mountjoy prison. I couldnt believe someone who was so shy and slight looking would work in such a tough environment. The prisoners were blessed with someone so smart and consistent.

She wanted to help the soul of another human being. She is deeper than you think.
@rasher3314 жыл бұрын
@@chipdouglas6650 I never doubted how deep she was for a minute. The fact that I knew her for five years and in that time she came across as very shy and reserved and physically she was very slight so I was really surprised she took on such a hardcore role. I always knew she was a beautiful person as I mentioned above and am not surprised for a minute that she wanted to help others.

I really took a strong dislike to Pat when he interviewed Pete Doherty. Pete came over to Ireland in terrible snowy weather especially for the show and he basically scorned him for the entire interview and the cameraman kept zooming in on his nails that were dirty looking probably because Pete was doing drugs. He didnt have one ounce of compassion for Pete and I wondered why he had him on the show at all. A complete ignoramus.

This is very different then Angola the Louisiana state penitentiary it's like they stay locked up in their sale they don't have no kind of work assignments. When I was incarcerated you went to work at 7:00 and you didn't get in till 5:00 in the afternoon and believe me you were so tired you didn't think about fighting the Louisiana heat would beat you down drain you out All you wanted to do was eat and go to bed. Is very difficult in prison The main thing in prison in America is the guards not the inmates of course you had fights that's only natural when two men don't agree with something. One thing you learn in prison is you don't affiliate with the gardens in prison the guards are called the Freeman they're not your friends they never will be they don't want to be and they'll just feed you for information so that you ran on people and it'll create problems Great problems you have enemies enemies that you don't even know. It's kind of like slavery in a way they'll turn you into a human tractor I've seen many men come there I've seen many men say that they're not going to work That's fine with them they'll just put you in the block you'll stay on lockdown with no bed concrete floor with a toilet

I dont think i would piss myself but id be more on edge in a prison overseas because of the pressure to act in certain ways id rather not, like joining gangs and watching over my shoulder every min of the day.
