Okay let's say that two events occur that are spaced apart from each other spatially, but both however are positioned at the same specific point in the dimension of time of the 4D environment know as Space-Time. Thus here we will say that relative to the dimension of time, both of these events are truly simultaneous events. That is our starting point, the actual occurrence of two events. However, from a different frame of reference, which is determined by what direction the observer is traveling within the 4D space-time environment, event A may seem to occur before event B. Or from another frame of reference, event B may seem to occur before event A. But what is important, is that two real events did occur at one specific point in the dimension of time, and that therefore from Space-Times point of view, they were truly simultaneous events. Meanwhile though, there is no way in which any observer in any frame of reference can know if their observation of the timing of the two events, is the correct one. But again, something absolute has to occur in the first place, that can then be view differently, by different observers.

There are 3 lights in the form of a triangle. A, B, and C are lights and are stationary with respect to each other. S1, S2, S3 are spaceships. S1 is moving from B towards A. S2 is moving from C towards B. S3 is moving from A towards C. A, B, and C flash simultaneously in the frame of reference that is at rest relative to these lights. So in the frame of reference of S1, A flashes first followed by B flashing. In the frame of reference of S2, B flashes first followed by C flashing. In the frame of reference of S3, C flashes first followed by A flashing. So the sequence of flashing is A, B, C, A. But wait! A flashed first. How can it flash last? How can A flash both first and last? It only flashed once in the frame of reference that is at rest relative to these lights. Therefore there is a paradox.

2 ships passing each other. Ship1 at rest at top: T--------------------N N--------------------T The moment when T1 is lined up with N2 must be the same moment in both frames of reference because there is only 1 moment when this occurs. There was some point in the past when N1 was lined up with T2 according to ship 1 but not according to ship 2. That is impossible thereby proving that special relativity is nonsense.

i’m so glad you did a graphic like this, because when I studied physics as a physics, major and example of reference frame was given as a train, and something happening with the train is traveling, and maybe a lightning strike or some thing, and I never could really fully grasp that concept. Even with this graphic, you kind of have to think about it for a couple seconds.

Recently, there is a new book on Amazon titled 'Universes Are Black Holes.' The axioms and mathematical derivations in this book are much simpler than those of relativity. In addition to easily deriving all the classical conclusions of relativity, such as time dilation, length contraction, gravitational lensing, and planetary precession, it claims to also explain dark energy and dark matter. Can these experimental verifications really prove the correctness of relativity? Could you provide some insight on this? Will theory of relativity be revised finally? Thank you.

Yes, A, B, and C have different separations after the transformed coordinates, but it does not mean that the measurement is inaccurate. It simply makes them relative. It's kind of like sitting at a table and placing a cup of tea to your right. However, a person sitting face to face with you might say that the cup of tea is located to their left. Left and right are just as relative as the order of events shown in the video. I understand relativity and the special difference makes sense but I dont get How The time of the car crash can be different if it happens at for example 6am in the morning in NY and at the same time in Prague (which is then 12 o clock noon). It is still the same time for the occasion. There can’t be another point of view for the event. It’s both causality „A“ if it happens exactly at the same time. Time differences are just because of different time zones but that’s not the same as the location view difference.

it's been a while since I learned about this in high school, but I think the explanation is the following: if the plane is flying from Prague to NY then the light from the car crash in NY arrives earlier at the plane than the light from the car crash from Prague (assuming the plane is in the middle of both cities). The plane is moving away from the Prague accident, so it appears to happen later because the light needs to catch up to the plane. Hope that helped

@@TobyKate Yes Buddy, many thanks for your response. I understand the speed-of-light part. But still one cant change causality..? If youre in NYC and on the Phone with someone in prague and in front of both of you a car accident happens, then its in fact the same moment causality wise. I think the end part of the video is a bit vague if you dont take the soeed of light into consideration. And if you would, they should say it. Because its such a small difference if youre in prague or NYC compared to the speed of light. PS: I live in Prague :-)

That is really overcomplicating an attempt at simple explanation by trying to make it more simple then it is. If I had to explain it in the modt straightforward as possible without going into conplex math( that I don't understand fully either): Einstein's general theory of relatively discusses the connection between matter in space and its effect on space time itself. The theory proves that a region of space basically curves like a trampoline when you put an heavy object on it, when matter in the region has a lot of mass. And the curvature of space gets more extreme the more massive matter is. What this theory proves is that time and distances are affected by space because when space is curved, things like light and time are curved along with it and because of that even light will take more time to go from point A to point B if it goes through a curved space region compared to a normal flat one. And the same goes for time. The more curved space is in a certain region, the slower time passes because it needs to basically cover more distance just like light. That connection between time and gravity is the reason why there is time dialation in areas in the proximity of objects with extreme mass, like black holes for example. Essentially summarize, the theory proves the connection between the mass and energy of objects to the curvature of the space they occupy, and it proves that this curvature is also making distances longer and making time slower
@stewiesaidthat
@stewiesaidthat 2 ай бұрын
The theory proves nothing. Relativity is pseudo-science and masks the reality of the underlying observation so much so that it's 180 degrees from reality. A mirror image to be exact. Which is why you can't see the blatant errors right before your eyes. First of, space is a vacuum. What exactly are you 'warping' if space itself is nothing? Second. Newton's gravitational attraction BS was disproven by Galileo and Nasa and many hundreds of other disproportionate weight drop tests. There simply is no such thing as gravitational attraction. Mass is not an actionable force. It can't warp space. What Einstein’s theories does prove is that you are a bunch of ignorant sheep that can't think for themselves. The laws of physics are equally applicable in ALL frames of reference. How can the Earth's mass pull objects inward when its axial rotation is accelerating its mass outward? How can gravity be so weak it can't be measured (equivalence principle), and yet it can act on massless photons. You relativists take the grand prize for stupidity.

This is a poor example. First an observer cant observe two accidents on opposite sides of the ocean. So they dont appear anything you can only see one and be told about the other at a later time. If an observer could see two accidents like in space and you saw them collide at the same time. Then they happened at the same time no matter what its not an appearance of anything other than two accidents happened at the same time.

It's definitely fair to regard Einstein as a genius. But even if he was never born, nuclear weapons would have been developed in the same time period. You can't blame the first caveman who invented a gun for all the gun deaths since. If there's any single person behind today's nuclear weapon threat, it might be better attributed to Edward Teller. Einstein was concerned about Hitler getting nukes first and using them. He later reflected that if he knew Hitler could not have developed them, he would not have participated. Teller, on the other hand, pushed for fusion bombs for the sake of having bombs with no upper limit on destructive power, and afaik never had any regrets about the threat he pushed hard to create.
