You missed the parts from elons mothers book where she describes their abusive marriage in more detail. Errol would beat her till she was bruised and she could not work anymore. She was also not allowed to see her own family . He would degrade her in public in front of all their friends. Their divorce was contentious with a lot of psychological manipulation. Custody battle went on for years.

His father is/ was a Narcissist. And approx. HALF of narcs today are now (covert, vulnerable, fragile) female narcissists. Narcissism is out of control, and these "CEO," etc. narcs with "secondary psychopathy" are the worst. (Billy G, for e.g.) Elon clearly has been "traumatized." And when you consider what he's "working on," he is no SAVIOR... but rather part and parcel, or the PROBLEM. (Unmanned vehix, and AI to to NueralLink, for e.g.) Speaking of E- vile!

My sisters and me were abused by evil stepfather and mother, they divorced, mother continued the abuse until I was in my 60’s she is now in a nursing home with dementia. While that was hard moving starting over it made us well-rounded women.

Being abused never leaves us. The one thing that helped me: My abuser is 6 feet under. My niece and I agreed it was the best feeling to feel free, and not afraid. Hey Cindy, just so you know, in the live-action video at 6:13 of you next to the rent-controlled apartment, there's a problem with frame-skipping. Particularly during the camera pan, it looks choppy, and you can see the skips by stepping through it frame-by-frame. I suspect the camera framerate is higher than the final video. The motion graphic showing your name and "Newsthink" are unaffected. I suggest setting future video framerates to be the same as your camera footage. The shots of you in-person are a channel signature at this point, and they should look good in motion. Thanks for covering this topic, by the way. There's a staggering amount of misinformation about Errol, and Elon's upbringing.

I'm glad he overcame. It seems Elon maybe resentful as the mother obviously wasn't receiving any money to raise three children while his father was wealthy running his businesses and emerald mine. That is a punch to the gut to a child and child's psyche. Knowing the father is wealthy, yet spiteful to the ex and doesn't put the childrens' needs for basic food, housing and such first. Which seems happened here based on the story.

@KaiserJoseph1
@KaiserJoseph1 2 жыл бұрын
@Shimmy Shai Yeah that's true. Although I do not see it as if many people cannot become like him. His intelligence is like 5% of the actual success he has. It requires like hard work, dedication and a bunch of other factors. Any person with a slight above average IQ could become Elon Musk. CEO's does not invent or do the actual work of the product. The real intelligent people are the engineers. Just like any other company, the CEO's take credit for everything the company has accomplished.
@KaiserJoseph1
@KaiserJoseph1 2 жыл бұрын
@Shimmy Shai Yeah sure, that is also important. Im just pointing out that his IQ is not what made him what he is today. You need a combination of "everything" such as management, EQ etc. IQ is not a big factor to put a team into this singularity of vision. For instance, someone with a higher average EQ (like Musk) can demonstrate better interpersonal and communications skills within the team which eventually lead to better outcome and results for the company. This is what creates the "singularity of vision", a leader with high EQ. So what I am saying is that IQ is not as important as everyone estimates. Sure Elon has a high IQ but do you see that in his accomplishments today? He was a computer prodigy when he was a kid, that is a sign of high IQ. Today, most of the people know him for his business. It is not he who has done the work, but the one who initiates the work. He is not the one building rockets with his "genius" brain even though he knows about rocketry. There is a difference between being smart and intelligent. I'd say that anyone on the 95th percentile (125 IQ), that is also smart, dedicated and also has a higher than average EQ can accomplish what Musk has done.

Why do wealthy people who are successful always have to have started from such really humble beginnings.? Do they think really poor people would reject them or not aspire to better themselves. It's become so clichéd. Oh I was so poor yet I could attend the university.... I think the Father should get some credit. Sadly some of us really most of us are exposed to narcissistic people. Lessons learned is what not to be . I too had a father that was emotionally and physically abusive. Being a gentle person I too tried to help my father and narcissistic people have no idea who we are. I never gave up being who I am . I did finally after years of his emotion abuse walk away as people don't change . Walk in your own loving light and stay on your own path . Be true to yourself

Don't think Elon is the richest person who has ever lived. There were people in the past who were much richer!

Elon made the wrong choice to live with his father, if he didn't make this mistake, he wouldn't have to expericence his father doing evil things and being evil to him and he wouldn't need to go to Bryanston High school and get bullied by a gang of boys and get hospitalized. If he lived with his mother instead, then his life would've been different.

I really get sick of people blaming their parents, talking ill of their parents and how badly they were raised. I think most parents, by a long shot, really try to do the best they can and they love their children. Just because you’re a parents doesn’t make you a perfect person, and you shouldn’t be expected to be perfect for your children

Cindy is doing a great job! I love seeing her in her video's. She is lovely and NOT a bot. It fascinates me that she could be living only a few blocks away from me in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada but I have not met her in person. Come to think of it, Cindy has been attacked often for doing too much Elon Musk. That is wrong. Musk is an unavoidable topic and she covers it well. Her excellent videos go far in topics.

I guess we can all see where Elon Musks' empathy for people comes from, he experienced and lived a painful childhood. Elon may be the richest man alive but I still feel sorry for him. I hope he found his inner peace. 😟

Politics is garbage and the reason Elon is doing so much is because he's a leader of the free market not the state. Free markets are what benefit society not states.
