Electric boat ia called water metro where boat ( same) with diesel is called jetty which cost only six rupees . Kochi is main land on Arabian sea . From kochi these boat take people to different islands in Arabian ocean close to kochi as people live there . There are also boats that takes vehicles on them to & from kochi to islands
