In the entire Republic Day Parade, there were 2 instances of both husbands and wives leading their respective regiments - the Madras Regiment that was led by a Major, his wife was leading the all woman Tri Services Regiment. Similarly, the Sikh Regiment that was led by a Major, his wife was leading the Indian Coast Guard Regiment.

Otherwise, **Nirbhaya ko lekar bus 11 baar ek hi raste se gujri but Delhi police ko doubt nahi hua... **Shraddha Walkar ke body parts ko Aaftab 2 mahine tak daily raat ko 2:30 bje ek hi road se lekar ek hi jungle ke area me fekta rha, Delhi police ko at least 6 times saamne se nikla... but itne dino tak ek baar bhi police ko doubt nahi hua ki check kar lete.... ** Anjli ko ek car se 5 times ek hi road pe ghaseeta jata raha ... aadhi raat ke baad poore 3 hours tak, but Delhi police ki petrol car ko (2 times saamne se nikalne ke baad bhi) ek baar bhi doubt nahi hua.... .... In Indian armed forces, male & female, recruitments are never done on a regional basis. Every branch of the armed forces has representation of different regions of the country. In any regiment whether Sikh or Kumaun or Bihar or Maratha etc consists of soldiers and officers from all the regions of the country.

All these are central forces, even the delhi police is a state force but under the control of cebtral home ministry. They participate beacuse the function is held in delhi. State forces participate in the state event which is presided over by the governor, and held by the chief minister.
