For maharashtrians here ,It's really sad that none of the vlogger shows and describes traditional Maharashtrian food/ ( jevan) varan bhat ,puran poli,shreekhand,kadhi ,bhakri, zunka, thecha, thalipith,dhirdi,ghavan and so on and so forth.. Even none covers the traditional Diwali Faral of maharashtra. Chakli,shankarpale, chirote karanji,anaarse,chiwda,ladoo and the list goes on. If anyone has come across any auch video kindly share the link. I haven't seen any specific ,elaborate video🙂

Hi, the ancient and the original name of Pune is Punyenagari (sacred city) as the city is located at the confluence of two rivers, the Mula and Mutha. The confluence of rivers is seen as sacred. Fun fact - After the merge of 23 villages, Pune Metropolitan Area is now bigger than Mumbai in area. Pune is very nice city and Maharashtrains in general are very accepting of other cultures and is truly the most diverse state and Pune is the most diverse city after Mumbai. People from all over the world as well as India live here and that is why you will always get food from all corners of the world. People in Maharashtra will even speak English, Hindi and Marathi so the language is not a problem and the economy is shared with rest of India unlike few states. Everyone is welcome with an open arm, just respect the locals, their language and culture and you will never find more accepting, kind, humble and best place to live in India.
