Being a pakistani you should research about taxila university, which existed before two thousands years ago, where chaanakya studied and taught various subjects, gurkul education is free, there may be charges for lodging and messing but I'm not sure about it

Purane samay k gurukul me sabhi prakar ki shikshya di jaati thi, from war to economics, history to geography, from business to philosophies, but everything was based upon the concept of DHARMA, day used to start from doing puja and used to end with a puja.

@Newsviewsupdates 10:20 About older gurukuls - most in Northern Bharat when defunct during Islamic rule. Iithaasa wise - even lord Krishna, Ram went to a gurukul. There are gurukuls for women also. This one is sophisticated, there are Gurukuls with as few as 10 students, where Acharya and his wife live in an plot of land with few cows, the couple teach for min 7 yrs to each student (sheesh-ya)

Admissions are taken on the basis of merit, A simple test is conducted to assess the candidate according to his current grade level in English, Mathematics and Science. Boys qualifying the written test are called for an interview in which their habits, social interactions and aptitude are assessed. It's not free ❤❤ they charge reasonable amount
