Officer who arrested Scottie Scheffler allegedly violated departmental policy

Pro-golfer Scottie Scheffler was arrested on May 17th outside of Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville after he allegedly failed to stop and follow officers' directions as he attempted to drive into the golf club to participate in the PGA Championship.
However, Louisville Police Chief Jacquelyn Gwinn-Villaroel said Detective Bryan Gillis violated departmental policy by not activating his body-worn camera when engaging Scheffler.

Cop jumps on moving car for no reason at all, cop then charges assault on a police officer. Traffic infractions should not required the driver to be placed under arrest. Nor does it allow a traffic cop to jump on your car. Always film the police, get a dash cam.

the Prosecutor is as corrupt as the Police... the "Officer" committed false arrest, false imprisonment, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, mis-malfeasance, falsifying charges, falsifying government documents, deprivation of rights; the "Officer" is also the sole cause if 95% of his injuries latching onto a moving automobile when he could have (being an accident scene recreation expert) instead pounded on the hood or trunk to get the driver's attention... the Prosecutor is also REQUIRED to disclose exculpatory evidence, AND prosecute the "Officer" if there is evidence of the "Officers" wrong doing... If there is any true Justice the "Officer" should not be being treated as thought everything he did was lawful, and everything Scottie did was unlawful...🤔

A big misunderstanding? This guy is to nice. It’s a other police misconduct with false allegations. I think camera was on but shows that the cop is lying and for this reason now they claim no footage. This cop would just ruin a other regular guys life with this allegations, but Scheffler has all the money in the world to defend himself. Hope he sues this cop and the Police Department.

From what i can see Its a case of a first responder emergency that turned into a death investagation. Mr. Scheffler chose to continue to move his car and he could not hear the officer commands. Emergency lights were on. The accident turned into death invertigation the same minute Mr. Scheffler was there. I would issue a ticket , pay a fine and time served. Al respect to the family of the decesed.

this wasnt the scene, it was where the traffic was told to use to gp around the scene, IE secondary entrance, and he basiclly drove down the emergency lane to by pass the bus traffic, and got caught. then he took off down another road. that wasnt an entrance. they are so confused from getting their info off the net. explain the news cast in 10 words or less.
