A good birthday to observe! President Nixon was a good American. And also, the former speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich. How apropos that another great American speaks here about President Nixon's legacy.

The historian in me is often tempted to write a book titled something like "Richard Nixon and Neville Chamberlain- A Great President and a Great Prime Minister" Both are remembered for one negative yet an analyses of their achievements demonstrates solid achievements in Nixon's case with Cancer Care, the environment, China and Russia and in Chamberlain's case in Housing. Health & Education, Economic Recovery and Deference expenditure. To quote another great PM, "Its a funny old world"

I value and respect Nixon & his legacy enormously, but resent Trump with a severe passion.. How can one thoroughly evaluate each’s presidency and equally appraise both? I cannot understand the comparisons and even more how Nixon’s supporters of today are able to so freely endorse and continue standing by Trump too. Personally, I am almost certain that Pres Nixon would have been disgusted by him.
