Here is the first Demo reel from Newtek from 1987:

1988. My high school friend and I began a video production company. We quickly jumped on the NewTek bandwagon and never looked back. Six years later I built a public access TV station and filled it with Amiga computers and eventually Video Toasters. The folks in Topeka, KS changed the world of video/television forever. I’m SO happy to have been there from the beginning!

Only Amiga made it possible: I remember this on continuous loop at AmiExpo 88, all that in 512K and two floppies.

How far away from bringing out the Toaster and Lightwave were NewTek when they did this?

Can this harddrive image(?) with all the demos etc be downloaded somewhere? I would like to be able to run these demos not off floppy disk but off the harddrive instead...
