Tug of war - muscular / slim man will get accelerated towards the fat man . Since a = f/m , force is equal in both the cases action reaction pair but due to less mass of muscular man , acceleration will have greater value for slim/muscular man . Just as taught by sir in earth and aaj k jamaane ka apple wala example . Tell me if i am correct or not . 😅

Kinda late but there is an error in your perception. You ignored the force in the formula. A muscular man will pull with greater force, and if the force is large enough it may overcome the difference in mass.

The system moves towards the greater force. Newtons 3rd law only refers to an action and reaction couplet. The 2 men pulling on a rope are individual forces, not action-reaction.
