I...VERY MUCH enjoyed the informative aspect of the video review. You've really piqued my curiosity in these paints and I think I may invest in them in the future. I feel I need to widen my knowledge on available tools and products available, which will in the long run make me a better builder as well. Having said all that...Mando came out GORGEOUS! My God it looks so good! Fantastic work! Did the kit happen to come with a plastic cape as an additional option as well? I've built Bandai's Vader kit and think I prefer that look over cloth sometimes. In any case, congrats on another stellar video and look forward to more reviews! 👍🏼

Will you be looking into the flesh tone paints of this paint line?
@chrisgraunke92692 жыл бұрын
I've been using this for a very long time, and was a tester for the original company K colors, and I can tell you that less is more with this stuff. You should be doing 2 mist coats on the base with a medium wet coat to get an even surface, then just a few mist coats of the chrome until you get the desired effects. If you check my uploads, you can see the results.

For the steps of application for metal paints, just use gloss black primer! ( Zurc has one, im sure there are more...) Nice mix of review and build vid, thanks!

Is this line of paints able to be brush painted on by hand?

are their paints a lacquer?
@RepublicaSoverana2 жыл бұрын
I believe they give you the wrong products to make it shine better , they should give u the black primer, also need more black base 30 KSW100 black , and the chrome will give you better results with just 3 layers with a lapse of 2 hrs apart , you don't need to use the hair dryer, this product its capable to dry between 35-45 seconds, I use all the chromes for that particular brand, I wish I can send you some pictures . Your techniques are above and beyond 🖖🐶🖖

No products are correct but to have a great chrome the base KSW100 black need to be leave dry alone at room temperature for 12 hours, absolute not with air dry

Are you able to use tamiya clear colors over the metallic for a candy look or do you have to go to a lacquer based paint

Have you ever heard about Molotow Liquid Chrome ? It's alcohol based, but the result is really awesome.

Honestly, at that price point and results, I think I'll stick with Alclad.

Good review of the product, if you decide to mix it up and also add paint/tool review I am sure that your channel could grow(the only dude that does it now is barbatos, and I have some issues with his reviews of products :/
