I saw her in Dallas a couple years ago with Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats. I hadn't heard her before that show but I enjoyed her set more than I enjoyed the band I had gone to see. I feel like she was playing with the early stages of some of the musical ideas that are on her new album. I really like the first album but I absolutely love the new album. I wish she would have put "Yip Yip Yow" on the new album though. It was my favorite song that night and I wish I could listen to it every day! Also I got to speak to her for a little while that night and she was very open, charming, and very sweet. I was obsessed with the sound of her guitar and she told me all about her setup and the main pedal that she was using. I'll be seeing her again in March. I'm happy to throw my money at Caroline Rose 😄
