When I was a kid in Connecticut and my dad was away at sea in his submarine, his younger brother, my Uncle David, would take the train from Hoboken to watch the Giants games with me and my brother. Before my dad passed away, I flew out to his home in Las Vegas and we watched the Giants beat the Patriots in Super Bowl 42. Throughout the game, Uncle David and dad would talk by phone, as David and his sons were at the game in Arizona. This win adds to a long history of happy Giants memories. Thanks Blue!

I agree. Since the second game against Washington they've been a different and better team. Beating the Colts, the scrubs hanging in with Philly and now this big win. All of a sudden, the Giants are a good team. Getting healthy helps alot too. One big difference I've seen over the last quarter of the season that's carried over. The offensive line is not "offensive" anymore. They're actually doing a great job. Imagine what a feeling it'd be to beat the Eagles!

I became a Giants fan 6 years ago, I’m not from the US. NFL isn’t really a thing in the Netherlands, I made some friends who where already watching it and they got me into it. That was 6 years of them making fun of me for picking and staying with the Giants but I always told them that good things are ahead! And wel look at us now, I am so damn proud of this team! They are Pats, Bucs and Raiders fan so there extra salty this season 😎
@davidriedy59772 жыл бұрын
that's awesome, I actually know someone from the Netherlands also. He told me he was gonna visit New York and asked about what kinds of things he should look to do, since I'm from around there. He's a big football (soccer) fan but didn't know anything about the NFL, I told him somewhat jokingly that he should go to the Giants-Ravens game, and he actually went lol. Now he's somewhat of a Giants fan too I guess. Anyways props to you for staying loyal through the bad seasons with the Giants

Nice man. I’ve been a Giants fan my whole life. You should look up the Giants 1990 season and Superbowl 25. I was 12 and such a great memory. If you ever want to see what old school Giants football was all about, and watch a classic Super Bowl check out the entire game on KZbin. One of the greatest games from first play until last play. Here in America we were at war (Gulf war) so there was extra flavor to the national anthem and entire back drop of the game. Peace

@@davidriedy5977 that’s a nice story! I’m also a soccer fan. The dutch club Feyenoord is kinda like the Giants. I went to a Giants game 3 years ago while I was visiting New York, against the cowgirls wasn’t a great match but the atmosphere was amazing!

You guys destroyed us in the World Cup though, it was clear that the Netherlands was much superior to the US. That World Cup was amazing and I'm actually following club soccer a bit more now. Man if the atmosphere at that game 3 years ago was amazing I can only imagine what it might be like nowadays since the team is actually having success. The only Giants game I have ever been to was the regular season game vs the Packers in 2011, so many great memories of that day that I'm not going to get into here because this comment is long enough lol

I’m 42. No matter how mature I think I’ve become, I regress to a kid once we start a March. Some marches end quick, but some don’t, and the longer the March goes on the more personal it feels. I know it’s just a game but it’s a lot of fun and really cool to see a team become something. Will they beat Philly? I think we got a shot.
