My favorite part Ever was when she told the Dean of her daughter's school that she was worst to deal with than brutal dictators!!!! I almost peed my pants. I think Tea Leoni has always been underestimated she was absolutely brilliant in Spanglish. She is one of the best actresses EVER! I love u all cast and crew! Thank u for the best show ever!

Yes and show to EVERYBODY not just the women and the girls all around the world and men too that women CAN have it all, family AND career. Women do NOT have to give up career for family. And men do not have to become househusbands to support women who have a strong career.

I am just now getting into this show for the sole reason of Barbara Hall. She has been instrumental in two of the greatest shows ever on broadcast TV, Joan Of Arcadia and Northern Exposure. I hope it proves to be as intellectual and esoteric as those were.

Ditto to all the comments below. And just to add the incredible reality of the episodes as far as foreign policy and domestic policy issues are concerned and how skillfully they have been portrayed. And such a model for communication in this world today about how to solve problems both domestically and in the home and in the world! I'm sorry to see the reruns gone as well as the show being over.

I thought she was going to be more like Hillary, and the show was going to be politically one-sided,so I didn't watch for long time. As it turns out, she is nothing like Hillary and politically, I think, they are as fair as they can be in Hollywood. Great show. Love it.
