Interesting design. Although I don't see it being practical on many operations it's innovations might be useful as future equipment moves into drone like units.

This machine is very practical. The only downside that I see is getting the grain away from the machine considering the size of the paddocks, the hauling distances and the fact that the machine holds around 22 tonnes of grain.

@@ianrobinson9565 What makes it practical? I've been stuck way too many times in mud not to see what a nightmare this machine would be loaded with crop. Farming rolling or hilly land. Yikes. Watching the video it works well but that is pretty ideal conditions it is harvesting in.

@@slange455 I'm not sure if that changes the fact that this design on many farms due to topography and adverse harvest conditions would not be practical. Auto steer and sync are available on other traditional combines as well.

In case you didnt know: This machine is designed to work only for large scale operations. It is not just a combine, but also a sprayer, a cultivator, a seeder, etc. The big advantage is, that it operates using CTF. Because the machine is always the exact same width (only the wheels mind you, nut the attachments) it can always drive on the exact same lanes as the year or months before and reduce ground compaction by an insane amount

from my understanding the main advantages of it are the modular design, fully autonomous capablity and this is only for the combine version but its dual thresher system improving soil quality by a good margin

If you look at a nexat properly you would know why it misses that area. Its because it goes back over its last tramlines. For example, when he turns right at the end of a run the right wheel would follow the same line again on the way back. It does this to minimize compaction. The wheels are always on the same lines for planting, fertilizing and harvest. All the same width so it follows the same track. But because it does this, each pass it does it is overhanging onto an area it has already done. Hope you understand now.

Called layover or blowover. Usually strong wind gust can snap off the dry wheat stalks. With wheat of this superb quality the berry's get really heavy. If it's not all the way down usually the header can pick it up. Ukraine makes some of the finest wheat in the world. Crazy yealds per acre.

they are similar in complexity, There are: 0 difference in the combine setup. 0 difference in engine setup Only difference is that Nexat can change equipment and it reduce compaction up to 95%, by not driving where it's planting/harvesting/tilling/fertilizing. It does the same as a normal tractor, but instead of towing an implement it carry it. and always drive in the exact wheel track, while ordinary tractors with implements drive where they will plant and that affect the compaction of the soil
