Kai, I know you like Nexo a lot. That is the reason I considered an account. Recently I sold a position and wanted the money to be sent to my bank account. It first changed the currency from the Euro to the Dollar and then it applied a USD 25 transaction fee.

Hi mate, yes, I do :) I didn't realise that, just had a look, for GBP & EUR it's only €5 but yes, for USD it seems like $25 which is way too much. In general for USD they are not very friendly....yet, I know they are in talks of registering their exchange in Dubai, then they will be better suited to offer USD transaction. Even USD top up costs me now $25 which is crazy, so what I do is use OKX, another exchange, top up USD over there, exchange it to USDT, which is also cheaper than NEXO and then send it for few cents to Nexo. You could do the same, just withdraw crypto to another exchange and cash out from there 👌 I just like Nexo for the great interest. Cheers

The short answer is yes; both Ledger and Nexo support native SegWit addresses, but there are a few nuances. On Ledger, native SegWit addresses start with “bc1” and are specifically designed for optimal Bitcoin transactions, reducing fees and improving speed. Nexo also uses native SegWit addresses for Bitcoin, but the setup is different since Nexo is a custodial platform. This means you won’t have direct control over the private keys or see the exact SegWit address as you would on Ledger. So while they both support native SegWit, Ledger provides a more transparent, self-custody experience, whereas Nexo handles everything on your behalf in a custodial environment.

But Nexo is much more expensive than Binance. It it good idea to buy firm Binance and transfer them to Nexo to receive the interest that they give you with your cryptos? Do you personally also buy from Nexo?

Hi mate, yes, fees are slightly higher, though you could use Nexo Pro to get crypto much cheaper and then easily move it into your account. I have not actively bought more BTC for a while but I used to buy it there in the past, just valued the convenience and the higher interest quickly removed the drawback of fees but yes, if you buy a lot or even trade and exchange like Binance or Bitget might be a better choice for you or buy there and then move to Nexo for interest is also an option 👌 Cheers

I used Nexo at first, but had some problems with them so I moved on to Kraken. I might be thinking of switching back to Nexo.

Hi, Kraken is solid, also used to use it, though I much prefer Nexo if I am honest, but no harm in using a couple of exchanges to spread the risk and diversify though unless you get interest on Kraken, I would probably rather keep your crypto on a hardware wallet and the rest on Nexo for some interest, as without interest, no point of taking on additional platform risk 👌 Cheers

Rule nr1 Never Store the Most worthfull asset on an Exchange. And why no Platin? Always plat, when there is belief in the Plattform. Long to want Till u get that what u would get with usdt. Btc needs to rise to ~140-150k. Gerade wenn man weiß as btc im Schnitt gut 30% in den letzten Jahren 150% im Durchschnitt gemacht hat nur durch hodlen. Dazu noch die Haltefrist die futsch ist.
