So Toyota just added to the trims, a new trim to fight other luxury SUVs. And they did perfect💯 in that. Excellent job, Toyota.💯

❌️❌️ very Disappointed in the Sequoia. I always buy Toyota. I own a prius, camry and Tundra right now. I waited for the new Sequoia XXL (same size as Suburban or Expedition Max). But, NO ... TOYOTA just made the same size. WTH Toyota. The storage and 3rd row space is unforgivable. So tiny! TOYOTA YOU SELL VEHICLES IN AMERICA... MAKE THEM LARGER. WE ARE LARGER! I'm looking at Suburban and Expedition now... their Quality and reliability is getting better... while yours is declining. WTH Toyota!

This is a Toyota hater. Plus cars are all too big in US. People are driving land yachts . Gas guzzling American cars jumbo size suck. Since Toyota got polluted by ex GM and Pontiac staff, they have declined.

The point of a full size suv...is to have full sized space. Toyotas focus on the Tundra has left them rushing to find an answer of where to store the batteries in the Sequoia. It was an afterthought and they took the main selling point of a full sized suv and got rid of it by eating up the trunk space. They couldnt even cover it up well. Trying to sell it off as a plus with a piece of cardboard with some cheap carpet and calling it a shelf system. Give me a break. This will not sell. It will only sell with yes men toyota fanboys. Look at the new Jeep Grand Cherokee. Much better tech...much better room...much better off road chops...much better interior quality. Toyota needed to hit it out the park and design for the future seeing how they dont like to redesign as often as other brands...but all they did was bare minimum. Anyone with half a brain would be looking elsewhere after this reveal...or maybe holding out hope that Toyota wont fuck up the 4Runner.

Cargo space: the third-row seat when folded down, it's so high that if you're a pet owner, and have big dog(s)... the pups won't fit in the cargo space. Also, the sliding trunk window would be a plus for the pups too. I think it would be a better option if they had removable third row seats (for cargo space), but then they wouldn't be power folded seats.

@@toronado455 Toyota within the last decade is not as well built like in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s! Fuel tank pump issues with my 2017 Tundra. They replace the pump.. but, still doesn't read milage remaining accurately. Other massive recalls that you can see on Nhtsa. I'm starting to doubt Toyota reliability ever since they built in USA and use USA vendors for parts. Now this... Toyota can't even build a Sequoia that compete with Suburban. They can if they wanted to because the new Tundra had a 6.5 bed with Crewmax. But, they don't. Mike Sweers need to be replaced. I've always bought Toyota. 3 in my garage right now. But, once I buy a Ford Expedition Max or Suburban...I might never come back to Toyota. Especially if GM Ford QDR is improving.

Jeff!!! Just when I feel like I’ve found what I want as my next vehicle; you find another I like better! I’ve gone from wanting a 1794 Tundra, to a Capstone Tundra. Now you’ve got me wanting a Sequoia Capstone! I’ve driven trucks since I learned how to drive back in the ‘70s. I’m retired now, not as active and my needs for a truck are much less. But, I still love the way a truck rides and drives. And, being 6’5” I appreciate full size leg room and comfort. LOL! Okay, you can take a break from showing me new vehicles I want…, until they come out with a Sequoia “Prime” plug-in hybrid. 😜 Thank you very much! I love your reviews. 👍🏽

The Sequoia was an afterthought. You can tell by the rushed and horrible design of the back. All Toyota cared about was the Tundra and they gave little to no thought on how the new design would impact the Sequoia. Ther outward design is decent and of course the Powertrain is great....but that's where the buck stops. The tech is lackluster even for what's out now...nevermind what will be out in the next 5 to 10 plus years till we see another redesign. The off-road worthiness is ok at best and nothing to write home about. Even the Ford Explorer or the New Expedition have better off road chops with their Timberline model. Nevermind something like the Jeep Grand Cherokee. The quality of the interior is ok at best...just duplicating what's in the Tundra, which doesn't compare to something like the aforementioned Grand Cherokee or something like the Telluride/Palisade. Then you got the elephant in the room....the rear interior space which obviously was a rushed afterthought. You can't tell me Toyota thought this was a great idea...and anyone trying to say it is...is just being fanboy yes men. The basic idea of having a full size suv is to have full sized room. The Sequoia does away with that with this horrid monstrosity of a shelving system to try to gloss over the fact they didn't take the time or effort to design an actual answer to the problem of where to store the batteries. People may fanboy now but mark my words....the Sequoia sales will be lackluster in comparison to the better options out there at this price range. Toyota can't just live off the Toyota namesake forever. Not with companies like...Kia/Hyundai...Jeep...Ford...etc all making big strides in design while toyota is trying to get away with bare minimum that won't even cut it in todays market. Nevermind tomorrows. Put it this way...after the reveal.... I sold my Toyota stock.

You may be correct. I don't see Toyota selling too many of these especially the Capstone trim. There're just too expensive. They needed some sort of replacement for the Landcruiser and unless your a rap star it ain't gonna be the LX 600.

It's a nice redesign, but it's not going to be nearly as capable off-road as a Land Cruiser.

You forgot to put a tow hitch and dual exhaust WTF. What about gas prices, what about sleeping quarters if Toyota gives five years paying for gas I’ll purchase vehicle lol 😂😂😂😂

Plastics look cheap. Sound of materials sounds flimsy. Room behind 3rd row looks smaller than i would have thought.
