For anyone installing this: ignore the instructions on their website to use a 1.5m 6mm hose to relocate the air filters. That’s only a 4mm inside diameter, but ARB clearly state in their instructions to use at least 14mm inside diameter hose at that distance. Otherwise compressor performance will be impacted and can overheat / damage it 👍

hmmm, 14mm inside diameter? but the air filter is still around 4mm inside diameter feeding into the 14mm hose. doesn't make alot of sense. appreciate the feedback though. we'll reach out to our local dealer again regarding this.

@@piratecampco No worries! Yeah even though there’s a bottleneck at the end a larger diameter hose creates less resistance. The filter relocation kit from ARB also has some fairly large diameter hose

Great products but an explanation as to why this is better than the arb version of the compressor mount would be good. Also should the filters be installed on the drivers side closest to compressor? Any tips on plumbing it all up?

G’day legend, Thanks for watching. The main reason our products are better than other options on the market is because they bolt straight in. Others need holes to be drilled through your steel tub. We also offer a tidier & more protected spot for the switch & air outlet in our opinion. As for the filters they can be mounted on any side, the tail light i had closest to me was passenger side. All 3 brackets are offered for drivers or passenger side. We’re just waiting on some finalised pricing from Arb, hopefully tomorrow. Then we’ll be releasing a full kit with the plumbing. Arb sell all the fittings and braided hoses to plumb it up, & it’s reasonably well priced.

G'day legend - the air filter is part of the compressor. We made a bracket to relocate it higher so you don't fill them up with dust and water.

G'day legend - the tank comes with a drain bung. We have set the tank up so it can be drained as it's been designed to do.

G'day legend - paper instructions are never adequate enough, we feel a video gives all the information in detail, and shows all the tips to the DIY person to make it a breeze for them at home,. Some people have different levels of ability when it comes to this sort of stuff.
