NASCAR, we’re excited to see these cars don’t get me wrong. But nobody is excited for what we’re seeing right now. Which is basically the same thing we were trying to get away from with the Gen-6 car. It’s basically follow the leader and nobody passes anyone unless a mistake is made. Number moved up front are frowned upon by a great number of people, the lug nuts are the stupidest thing ever, you’re getting rid of any tradition that Daytona had that it wouldn’t surprise me if you ended up holding the duels somewhere else. Just for the love of god for once listen to what the drivers and the fans want. Cause it sounds like some of them are in the same boat as well

We could have 4 Super Speedway Races(Daytona, Talledega), 4 1.5 mile races(Homestead,Atlanta, Vegas, Kentucky), 4 1 mile races(Milwaukee, Dover, New Hampshire), 4 road races(COTA, glen, Sonoma, Roval), 7 misc races(gateway, Nashville SS, pocono, Indy, rockingham, Iowa) 3-4 dirt(Knoxville, Bristol, eldora) and 10 short track races(Bristol, Martinsville, Nashville fairgrounds, Richmond, Phoenix, new Autoclub, North Wilksboro)

Package does suck but if they have 20+ 1.5-2 mile tracks on schedule NASCAR will continue to die. They could make cars affordable for privateers like latemodel racing, and they would have 200 cars showing up for a $500,000 purse. Also, they could tailor the rules package(especially for short tracks) to where you don’t have to pay a team of engineers to set it up. That would be real stock car racing. This is just corporate billboards running around the track.

Yes we want to see draft pack racing because it is superior competition. Working the throttle only means the car is screwed up, it’s NOT any competitive virtue. Real racing is you keep repassing everyone until the checkered flag

Less horse power should be less spoiler. Cut that sumbitch in half. 3.5 to 4.5 is all they need. Make em drive the cars, not wide open. Hope they fix it. Cause itd be embarrassing to see the xfinity run faster lap times.

There are several issues with the car that at least NASCAR is accepting feedback from the drivers. FIrst, the heat . Temps have been measured near 150 degrees...Also, there are issues with the safety of the drivers in chrashes. I think there is a lot of work to be done.

What’s with all the people complaining? It’s a damn test NOT a race. Clearly people who have never been in racing. This is like saying drivers should go balls to the wall during hot laps at the local dirt track, ain’t gonna happen unless they’re an idiot. Also racing is about leading and not passing. I get sick of hearing people gripe that there’s no passing. That might be because a race car driver doesn’t want people passing them? 🤔

NASCAR I hope you’re looking at these comments! These cars need more terminal velocity at the end of the straightaway so they have to be driven. Please give them more power or less spoiler (both would be nice). If you want the drivers to help sell this for you and to be excited about this new car, this is not the formula. Trying to create Talladega / Daytona type pack racing on a 1.5 mile track is crazy. I love this sport but I think NASCAR has lost its mind.

These tests should have been also done during the summer in the heat of the day and at night at tracks were those races would be held at during race times. All this does during fall in the morning hours, when races are not held, is seeing how fast the cars are. I see no real useful data which can be applied to races when they're not run.
