I have this exact make and looking for more or less this exact canopy but was wondering what the final price would have been discluding all interior draws and appliances, would help me a lot as ARB cant give me a rough price!!

Hi, we purchased the system from Battery World. The system was 5k and the lithium battery 2k. Thanks for commenting 👍

Hi guys, so when you had the lift and bar done, did ARB do the job or did Ford?

Hi, we had the GVM upgrade done before we picked the car up (pre registration) HOWEVER, there was a mix up in communication between ARB and the Dealership and the Bull bar was installed by accident. We wanted the bar installed after registration as to not add extra stamp duty. Fortunately Ford and ARB admitted the mix up and paid half each for the extra cost. Hope this makes sense 😁👍

@@escapetoeverywhereaustralia Thank you for the reply, so my next question is, do Ford make slap on a cost for the fitting of the GVM upgrade from ARB? Sorry for the questions but I’m just doing some homework of my own before I invest in the Ranger. I also am hearing there is some sort of vibration/shudder in the driveline especially on take off, how’s yours? Cheers guys.

@@kman6482 We did the GVM upgrade pre rego as that will make the car legitimately legal in every state and territory we visit. You can do it post rego, but we were advised to perform this before rego. We do have a tailshaft vibration, but since the canopy has been fitted and we are now packed and ready for touring it's no longer an issue. There are a lot of good next gen groups on Facebook and they are really informative. We are extremely pleased with our vehicle. There are problems with every manufacturer . This is our experience. Just do your research and follow your instincts. 👍

@@kman6482 Also, Ford do not add an extra cost, but be aware, anything you add to your vehicle as in ARB accessories before the first registration, means you will pay a bit more in stamp duty

@@thomasdowning1993 Ford won't cover anything that goes wrong with the canopy or rear sensors. However the vehicle itself is fully covered.

Hi, we don't have any scratch protection on this at the moment, we are however going to look at a clear adhesive wrap to put on in the near future. Cheers 👍
