Interesting, I wonder what Lexi saw in blondie to make him a ruler? Maybe at the time, he was proud and intimidating, but now he just seems like an arrogant asshole. I definitely thought he'd make Ezra the next ruler, though it makes sense that he didn't. He always followed orders, never thought about things as a person, he just all around wasn't ruler material. Though I think it would have been interesting to see him as ruler, sorta Nuru style, where he isn't good at making decisions and thinking for himself then becomes an amazing ruler Also, Nuru ATE and left no crumbs! 😭✨

Among all the introduced rulers, the ones who peek my interest are Ludacris, (Because he was picked by Lexi, someone who has good judgement skill, so I'm curious about why he chose Ludacris) Griffith (I'm mostly curious about why he refused to speak, relaying it to Kersti instead + NGL, I like his design A LOT) & Marissa (Because A FRICKIN CHILD being in Hell is one thing, but being chosen as a ruler of Hell? Awesome to finally see the next generation of rulers! But man…it’s chaotic. Not totally unexpected but I can understand Samuel’s frustration. Oof. Still wondering how a CHILD was picked as the Ruler of Hell. Was there an actual reason? Or was it just a careless decision? (Then again, Elaine was appointed the Ruler of Purgatory so-) Gaby is apparently a character that’s appeared before, though I’ve forgotten all about her. I was wondering who thought it was a good idea to choose the son of the woman that got blipped out of existence by the Ruler of Heaven. Her own irresponsible actions certainly didn’t help either. "A Ruler has privileges!" A Ruler has RESPONSIBILITIES. Though, she is right about Samuel’s own part in causing the war by deleting Demonica and the others in a fit of rage that should’ve only been directed at Evie. (He still hasn’t apologized for that). Regardless, I’m interested to see if any of these characters will become relevant in the future. Also, WHEN WILL SAMUEL TELL EVIE THAT SHE’S THE REINCARNATION OF LORA? I mean seriously? 😂

Valora most likely did, and it could be the reasoning for why Valora did that is because Valora just wanted to retire already/ASAP and didn’t care for who would become a good fit for ruler, she just wanted to retire as imagine being the RULER of HELL for a THOUSAND years, i feel like that would be extremely tiring, exhausting and mentally draining too, and Valora doesn’t seem to be the type of person to be an actual good person nor ruler nor does she seem to be the type to enjoy responsibility and having to work hard so it makes a lot of sense for her to do that. So yeah, it could be that Marissa didn’t actually do anything worthy of such position, it’s just that Valora just wanted to retire already.

Ok I'm super interested in Marissa. I can almost guarantee all the "child" stuff is just an act. First of all, she's a demon. So she died as a child but still did something bad enough within that time to deserve hell. Trauma doesn’t make people mentally stronger, trauma TRAUMATISES them, if anything trauma WEAKENS them mentally and emotionally. Which could very well be the case with Marissa, she is so mentally and emotionally weak due to being traumatised. Also, when was Elaine part angel? Yea, Elaine during when she was the ruler of purgatory’s wings look different from the others, but it’s also canonical that rulers of the afterlife can choose how their wings are like and would look like (which means that Elaine isn’t part angel) and if my memory serves me right, didn’t Ekklesia also have similar wings to Elaine when Ekklesia was the ROP? If so then that means that Elaine isn’t a half angel.

It’s simple, by being so sweet, adorable and cute that causes everyone to adore her and everyone to want to protect her and NOT want to harm her. I mean, who in their right minds could dare hurt such an adorable, innocent and sweet _child_ ? I get that it’s in hell but not everyone is THAT bad, there could also be people like Elaine (who had her soul sold), Nuru (who was forced into villainy) or Veronica (and by that I mean demons who did redeem themselves during when they were alive but their actions were so horrific and horrible that they went to hell nonetheless) and there could also be people who while being bad, aren’t THAT bad to the point of harming an innocent CHILD. So yeah, it could be that Marissa managed to get past 1000 years by being an adorable child.

(And the reasons for why they could be there could be is that they still weren’t punished enough for their crimes OR they just aren’t interested in going to heaven which is why they are still in hell) So yeah, it is believable that she survived due to being an innocent child.
