For f1 this may work but the two holes at the back are for the gt support, I came here for the same thing. Put my bar in the middle as shown on next level racing video (for gt position) and ive just got to the part the two holes we put our support bar on lol. Edit = step 10 number 4.

I bought this seat not long ago and am very impressed with it. My only gripe is you can’t get the monitor close to the wheel deck because of the way the brackets fit on the main frame. I was only using a single 32” curved monitor so after some thinking I managed to mod the monitor frame using only the spare parts from the two spare arms n vesa brackets from the triple parts. The only thing I had to do extra was to drill two vesa bracket holes out to the same size as the bolts that secure the monitor to the frame and added a small strip of metal to support the brackets. Total cost was zero and works a treat. My monitor is spot on now.

Ah Will, you made it look easy mate ! I've just got mine a few days ago including monitor stand, what a faff putting it together ! I tried the destructions, then a Next Level video and some of this one with you assembling it. I've got no chance with the Formula One position, I'm 6 foot and 18 stone so a bit on the chunky side to say the least, I got into the position ok , it was the getting back out that was a struggle !! I rejigged the cockpit into the GT position and with a few wheel deck and steering wheel deck adjustments I've managed to get it to a usable position. Only taken me 4 hours of puffing, panting, air con on, a beer or six to get there lol !! I was hoping to be racing by this evening but right now I'm gonna finish the setup tomorrow as I've still got to fit the monitor stand , the curved tv and get it all set up for my body size and reach etc. Anyway, thanks for this video and all of your content that I've watched, a great help. This is a great video and it is the primary reason I elected to buy a Next Level FGT cockpit to go along with my Fanatec CSL Elite wheel and pedals for my GT Sport set up. I watched the video a couple of times and so by the time the cockpit arrived, I was in a great position to assemble the cockpit without too many problems. The instructions were not great, but this video more than made up for the shortcomings. The adjustability overall is quite good, particularly for the pedal and wheel plates. The seat is very high quality and more comfortable than I expected. I am using the cockpit in GT mode, but I like how the pedals are further out from me compared to my Obutto, its much closer to a sport car feel as opposed to an SUV or minivan. The cockpit is rock solid and having the holes pre-drilled in the wheel, pedal and shifter plates is sheer bliss.

@@RADERFPV very happy with it, i only wouldnt advice the attached monitor stand for it. It limits the steering wheel stand movement/depth for aligning. i removed it and much more comfy. what he mentions at around minute 20:18

Thanks for the video! Quick question…Just received my F-GT and monitor stand and very excited to set it up. It’s mainly for my kids 5 and 7 years old and I purchased the separate free standing monitor stand to allow for greater adjustment for pedal/seat. However, can you tell me which position (GT or F1) will allow for the best reach/comfort for my kids? Ie. will the F1 position allow my kids to reach the pedals/wheel easier? Many thanks!

Nearly finished mine .I couldn't work out how the back of the seat fits onto the base so got a mate coming round tonight to help me finish it off ..Btw the blister pack was great with all the nuts bolts and washers but when there were no square washers I just used round ones,,,,then found a whole separate pack of square ones in the box so had to build o lot of it twice lol

Nobody else had issues with the instructions asking for 16MM screws that arent in the set??? Stuck on page 1 cos apparently making instructions that correspond to the actual parts is a hard thing to do.....

Just had the same experience haha. I eventually figure out that 16mm sometimes meant the screws already inside the seat or in some separate packages. But then near the end I just used the 60mm screws.

... one follow-up comment ... I found that even in the GT position, the pedal pate angle was too steep for me (6'5", 190 Lbs), so it sits flat on the floor butting against the inside of the front name plate. Doesn't move AT ALL. Added bonus, I can move the plate a touch left or right to tweak pedal angles to my body.

Just started my assembly for this now. Boy oh boy is the instructions confusing. Not sure if they changed some things, I’m guessing they have. One page says to use 50mm bolts for the support post on the bottom. Then the next page, it clarifies that I used 60mm for that same piece.. it also says to use the 3rd hole in. But there is no holes. It’s just an opening like a foot or so long. Not sure if that makes sense. I’m completely confused. I emailed Next Level Racing so hopefully they clear things up.

My TLCM pedals doesn't fit the pedal plate when I mount the pedal plate correctly, The holes don't compare. I have to turn arround the pedal plate in stead.

in min 13:30 you are using longer bolts as the descreption says in Step 5 (should be 16mm bolts) -- i think you use 5 cm ones

Your review along with a couple others influenced my purchase. I have been racking my brain for days back and forth on which rig to get. Should I get a screen stand or set up on my desk? I ended up getting the stand. I eventually want to set up triples. Probably not right away since I just spend 3 grand on a complete set up. Thanks for this video, Will. Your reviews are awesome and extremely helpful. I would appreciate some advice, if you have the time ... I have been sim racing since 1999 (Grand Prix Legends, now on ACC). After 10 years on my RennSport wheel stand, Fanatec CSR and IKEA chair, I plan to be moving on to a real rig... either the F-GT or GTtrack (if I can afford it). I am planning on adding a DD1 eventually and using my current Fanatec CSR load-cell pedals for the time being. My question is whether the F-GT would be able to handle the DD1. I am not too fussy ... Apart from the price, I like the fact that the monitors can bolt directly to the F-GT .... I have triple 27” monitors (8 years old and VERY heavy). With the GTtrack, there is a separate monitor stand that costs $500 Canadian in itself, which almost puts it out of my range of affordability (I am retired with a limited income). Hey Will, maybe bit of a weird question but if you don't mind me asking, how tall are you? This is defiantly a cockpit I could possibly be purchasing, but I'm not too sure about the monitor stand. I'm 5'11 so defiantly a bit taller, and I just want to make sure that buying the monitor stand wouldn't be a waste of money. I know the pedal rail could possibly be used but I just wanted to be 100% sure if I end up getting this. Sorry if it's a bit of a strange question haha!

Well, after receiving one myself, I am very sad to report that I am blown away at how poor of a product this is, and I question whether or not Boosted Media was paid by Next Level Racing to make this video. The comments he makes about how easy it bolts together are actually laughable. The rig I received had holes that were drilled so unbelievably crooked that it was not possible to put the rig together. Like I'm talking about threaded holes that are supposed to be straight are instead drilled approximately 20* off. This is absolutely unacceptable for a 400$ cockpit. Very disappointed
