GOAT Ali, stated that he was thankful he never fought Tyson, as he didn't believe he could have beat him, in his best days. I think this was perceived by Ali, from the Biggs fight. No one had Ali's style, but Biggs came the closest to that sort of dance shuffle and strike, which Ali mastered so well. Tyson was something special. I have studied Judo since 1968 and still do today, at 65yo. I competed spanning 2 decades, 90kg then into 100kg in my 20s-30s. I disliked all the flash and show. I wore only simple white cotton judogis. No markings, no stripes, no colors, except my belt. I loved that Tyson came out in black shoes, no socks, simple all black trunks and a towel with hole cut out to put his head through, communicating he was a no flash warrior. Tyson was something to behold. Neither Ali or Tyson, will ever have an equal. The mark they left in boxing, will never have one rising over theirs.

Tyson had his license withheld for the rape charges and then conviction and then again in the ear biting event. That is the statement you were looking for. Lewis and Holyfield were great fighters, but Tyson, being his own worst enemy, right or wrong, was at a different level during his prime years.
