Also Choso moveset is all or almost all based on a complete suggestion, with all the moves already being on paper right before making them real, while Mahito and Megumi were all made during the process, many times tze would say that he didn't have any ideas to new moves for Mahito, that and the constant change of moveset, removing some moves, adding another, re-adding etc, all that contributed to the character taking a lot of time to make

I fear that Todo might get the Mahito treatment, what unique and exciting moves could really suit him? Tze would need to be pretty creative or hopefully get some suggestions. The only ones moves that would really suit him would be him throwing a rock and swapping with it with his R. And for his awakening I hope we get the dope scene in which Yuji throws a pebble at Mahito and Todo swaps with it whilst opening his arms and flying through space.

the moveset and awakening aren't even all that bad (besides plasma), and the awakening for him kinda "equalizes" with the other characters since his Blood Rain is like Sukuna's domain mahito is kinda understandable, since Tze decided to do some experimentation with his awakening for some reason and such, but nonetheless it was worth it in the end. choso's fine other than his fourth move.

Choso was released early because there's nothing else to do with him. He's a simple character to use and is just a long ranged character. Infact, if Nobara was added to this game it would definitely be somewhere close to Choso. Not to mention, we've gotten used to waiting months for updates but trust, as soon as he keeps pumping out the update it'll feel less rushed and more natural. As long as he doesn't make it bad and actually rushed, that is.

I think mahito didnt get completed that fast because he has a lot more models and effects than choso, while choso only has the sfx, knives, and the blood wheel (and i think the rain), mahito has sfx, the hammers, the gun, the bullets, the worm, the body disfigure models, the spike wrath ball, the domain, the awakening worms AND the second awakening, imagine how long it took for him. I found something cool, if you turn on no stun, then make sure in your move set you have the snake (forgot what it was called) and plasma wave, press plasma wave and when you think it’s about to use the beam, press the snake move. Then you can kind of fly and aim the beam

Choso's ult is underpowered. I can prove this by comparing his moves with the moves of other ults. Plasma wave vs hollow purple Hollow purple -uninterruptible -has aerial variant -can be aimed during windup -takes away no ult bar -not too much knockback, allowing you to quickly follow up with more moves Plasma wave -interruptible -very long windup -cannot be aimed during windup -no aerial variant -takes a significant chunk of the ult bar -knocks opponents WAY far back, allowing them to escape Blood rain vs malevolent shrine Malevolent shrine -interruptible, but ONLY during windup -traps opponents inside a barrier -much larger area of effect than blood rain -consumes no ult bar Blood rain -can be interrupted at any time (with any damage during windup and on ragdoll while in effect) -no barrier, opponents run away easily -very small area of effect -consumes a MASSIVE amount of ult bar Slicing exorcism vs max reversal red Max reversal red -hitscan -does WAY more damage (Max red 42-43 damage compared to Slicing exorcism 18 damage) -has a variant that allows you to pull your enemy close to you, allowing you to quickly follow up with more attacks Slicing exorcism -projectile (easier to dodge obv) -does WAY less damage (again, 43 vs 18) -knocks enemies away, again allowing them to escape easier The only 2 upsides Slicing exorcism has over max red is -longer range -ricochet Wing king, is OK. But I hope you can see how terrible and rushed choso's ult is at the moment, it lasts 2 seconds if you even dare touch Blood rain or plasma wave, you can't even use plasma wave to kill a group, because you deal less damage the more people are in the effect, and they are knocked so far back you can't follow up (assuming they didn't just move out of the way during the super long windup which you can't aim in ofc) this ult is absolutely terrible as it is, slicing exorcism does so little damage that if it was blockable it could be a move in choso's base moveset. If you can look at all of this, everything I've laid out, if you can say with a straight face that choso's ult is fine as is, then I don't even know what to say, you are being completely delusional.

Poeple are thinking too small with Choso's fourth awakening move. What if you get into a tight space (between two buildings, for example) and then use it? Tbh I feel like you can’t complain this character has a sky high skill ceiling compared to every other character his ult is good if you know how to use it properly, although it does need buffs GIVE THE 4 SKILL I FRAMES PLEASEEEE. But overall I think he’s really good and it makes me happy he didn’t take a year to release! Suggestions (ult) 1: give the 4 skill IFrames 2: make the 3 skill larger 3: make three skill take hp rather than ult bar. 4: buff overall damage of three skill That’s all folks have a great day!
