+Blk Popeye queen of hip hop??? really ???? she might of started the first hip hop label, but i don't think the term "queen of hip hop" is the correct title at all. although founder and owner of her own label, still doesn't own up to the title "queen" i don't recall anyone labeling russell simmons as "the king of hip hop" come on now.when it comes to queens of hip hop, that would be debbie harry. she dropped the song "rapture" in 1980 before sylvia released " it's good to be the queen" in 82. so arguebly...,debbie harry wears the crown.
