My 13 year old sister has cancer, and Sunday I had gotten a call from my parents asking to gather all of my siblings to come and say our goodbyes… We prayed, we asked for a miracle, and here we are 5 days later and my sister has made a MIRACULOUS recovery and doctors are in AWE!

My sermon notes for " How to live tomorrow: End in triumph// Damaged but not destroyed ": 1.) There is greater in front of me than there is behind me. Today could be the day that changes all your days. 2) Your trauma has trained you that it is safer to not believe for better 3.) What if today could be the one day that changes the rest of your days. There never has been or will be a day like today 4.) Next year starts now. You often live as if today is just another day and not the day God could do a miracle 5.) The entitlement of tomorrow being promised is not biblical, what you do today is not a matter of ability it's a matter of value 6.) As long as you are banking on tomorrow, you will not be present today. You have to realize that tomorrow and today are not enemies but they work together. You set a vision for your life today. 7.) You don't know when it's going to start raining so you better start building 8.) It may not have been your fault, but it's now your responsibility. You have everything you need inside of you to choose today to do what you need to do today How to live tomorrow today?: 1.) Vision: where do you want to be? Vision requires sacrifice to achieve 2.) Value: what has to change today for you to get there? Vision and value has to align 3.) Voice: you have to write it down and tell somebody 4.) Invest: Do what it takes. You can not expected to withdrawl where you have not invested in. If you want to stand out, it's going to take some investment. Wow. Pastor Charles really taught a eye opening sermon, one that so many of us needed to hear. I know now that I personally have lost all hope because I’ve been so caught up in my trauma. God has been doing amazing things in my life and all around me and I didn’t even see it or acknowledge it because my focus was strictly on my pain and heartbreak. This sermon made me see that so clearly. Thank you God for speaking to me through pastor Charles, for getting my attention back on you and knowing that you are already taking care of the things I’ve been so worried about. I’m sorry God, please forgive me and give me the strength to keep my eyes on you and on TODAY because I know that you already have my tomorrow set up for triumph. YOU are the author and finisher of my life, you’re still writing my story and I trust in whatever you choose to do. This song crushed my heart. As I listened, I saw a panoramic view of my life. I was taken from my mom when I was 7 years old by the courts of California. I was institutionalized for 10 years. I suffered many horrible things for those 10 years. Then when I was 18 Jesus revealed himself to me and I was saved. Im 70 years old now and have had a blessed life. Jesus helped me graduate from college, gave me two beautiful daughters,and 4 grandsons. Jesus was my mother, and my father, and my brother and my savior. I have lived in the goodness of God. He has been faithful.

Next year starts now. I've said this for many years as I never liked the idea of resolutions when many, including myself, haven't kept them pasted January. Next year is always now for me. Once I got passed that resolution nonsense, whatever I needed to do started when I made the decision.
