From what I was taught in Lutheran school growing up, it was not that God created humans imperfectly, but that He created Adam and Eve perfectly and then gave them free will so that they could choose good or evil. Then when Adam and Eve chose to disobey God's command not to eat the fruit of the tree in the center of the garden, their sin somehow was transferred into the rest of humanity and corrupted it. So now religion teaches that the rest of us are born headed for hell and in need of saving. That's how religious people make the imperfection of humanity not God's fault or responsibity. All God did was sit back and watch the first humans fail the test He had set up. Why set up your creation with the possible outcome of your children making choices that damn them for all eternity ? That's the question I wish more Christians would ask themselves.

One of your greatest shows ever! So much truth. After forty years of being a Christian I turned away from organized religion. Paul was not teaching people not to follow the ten commandments. Paul was teaching that the law of Moses, the law covenant had been fulfilled in Christ, and was no longer necessary to be filled by the Levitical priests. Pause teaching this because Jesus had become the temple in place of the Stone Temple which was about to be destroyed. Jesus had become the Melchizedek priest in place of the levitical priests. The confusion resulted from the pagan converts to Christianity who did not understand the law of Moses, therefore had no foundation to understand how Christ was now fulfilling that law. This is why they were referred to the law of Moses taught in every synagogue.

Amazing conversation, Alex and Aaron!🩷✨ My parents and many people were traumatized by the Catholic Church during Franco’s 40-year dictatorship here in Spain. Because of this, they rejected religions so strongly that they struggle to believe in anything spiritual 😅. I’ve noticed this in many countries across Europe as well, we are still recovering from all the trauma.

The bifurcation of Christians having a new issue- title of: Paulian Christians as opposed to Non-Paulian Christians already has a name; Its Gnostic Christians as opposed to all other Christians.
