Based on the detail and description you show wherever you go, you should be sponsored by the countries you travel through. You are providing a great service, both to these countries and peoples and also to potential interested parties. You show us how things work out there. Impressive

was there with my daughter in January this year. Protests broke out. Wasnt fun, very sketchy! Machu Pichu was closed down three weeks prior and the protests started literally on our way out of Mach Pichu. Nice geographically, not my favorite country I have visited. But I am sure it is awesome when its normal.

Always fun to watch the scary driving. I can't believe that crazy German vehicle wouldn't have issues with height on that road. As much as I would like to see one of the wonders of the world it does turn me off to visit it too. I am sorry the weather didn't cooperate. I know what that feels like when you worked hard to climb a mountain and see nothing but clouds😊

The same thing happened when I visited Meteora in Greece with a small group. The mist was so thick that Y that we couldn't see anything. There was an old Greek lady in the group who insisted that we had to go to a monastery that wasn't on the itinerary because she wanted to visit there before she died. As soon as the tour guide agreed that we would go all the must suddenly disappeared so we got to visit another monastery and enjoy the amazing view of Meteora.

Hello guys I always watch your videos and they are amazing but I have to say my experience there was a lot different maybe because we had an Inca guide who not only told us the real history of Machupichu and the hidden Inca cosmology behind each building but also took care of all the tedious things like getting the tickets. Having a guide that is part of the culture rather than the commercial focused tourist guides makes 1000% difference not only for Machupichu but all the sacred Inca sites.

Well, I guess it’s good to know that Machu Pichu is a generous contributor to the Peruvian economy. It is an amazing spot! Your journey to get there was astounding-those cliff-side roads and the drone coverage of your drive made me thankful to be watching it all on KZbin rather that sitting in the vehicle. Disappointing for you that the weather did not cooperate but your coverage of the site was super informative and very interesting. Thanks so much for the experience. Looking forward to the next instalment in your adventure.

The Inca trail you need a permit for sure that you need to book in advance. I don’t know for the guide though. And it is indeed expensive. The Machu Pichu itself there are plenty of ways. There is another trail much more easy to organize but not as legendary I guess: the salkantay. You can do it in autonomy and get your tickets like us when you arrive at Aguas calientes

@@NextMeridianExpedition The name of the place is "San Carlos de Bariloche, usually known as Bariloche". It looks like a city in Bavaria. It couldn't all look like that, but that is what they show on TV. There are chocolate shops and other Bavarian type goods and restaurants. The area look like the Alps. The Nazi/Germans seemed to want to imagine they were back in the Fatherland. There is a Wikipedia entry for it. Just Google Bariloche. If I was there, I would have to go see it. Besides it is beautiful there. I think people from the east coast of S. America vacatiion there.

What?! I can't believe you took the bus full of tourists to Machu Pichu! I can understand why you took the car rather than the train, as the journey looks just as epic. On the other hand, not climbing on foot spoils the experience for my opinion. This is not a criticism, just my 2 cents. Nop! Not everyone has dream weather to see Machu Pitchu. Guys, 💑Thanks for sharing, too bad about the weather and the hordes of tourist. But you saw Machu Picchu!🏔 My daughter did a tour group hike for 5 days from Cusco to Machu Picchu. For her 40th Birthday a few months ago. She loved it and had great weather. It is nice to have money and be able to hire a tour company to do all the work for you, like getting tickets and arrange food and lodging. But it helps the local people get good paying jobs. My daughter did check out the tour company to make sure they paid the workers a fair wage. Some tour companies in the past did not pay their workers a fair wage. People need to check out their tour company before booking a trip. You guys are able to really enjoy and see the countries; you are not just flying in for a week or two. Thank you for letting us sees your travels. Take care and stay safe. I love your channel, 💖Cheers 🍜🍜 (Two Dollar Lunch) 🤠
