Bo Wallace (former Freeze QB @ Ole Miss) had several eye-opening comments on Freeze’s propensity to blame the players when his team loses. Throwing your players under the bus won’t build the culture he keeps bragging about that’s coming to the plains. All that’s going to do is turn recruits off. So … I encourage Hugh to continue on his current path. That can’t do anything but help my school get better.

Well their first game duped them. This is a BAD team with terrible coaching. All this talk about recruiting. It’s important but there are no signs of improvement in year two. Freeze is washed up. Let him go be a recruiter somewhere but as a coach he’s done. Never heard a coach basically say he doesn’t care about coaching, just recruiting. That’s the vibe he gives off and it’s a really bad look. Any recruit considering Aburn needs to really reconsider.

Doesn’t matter. Both guys are doing well at other programs. Hugh had his chance and has done very little. Coleman was supposedly good too. He is known for WR’s, woofing on QB’s and underperforming against bad teams. He got the job bc he beat Saban and then Saban retired. He’s not the only offensive guru in the SEC now. Heupel, Sark, Kiffin and DeBoer have an argument and better defenses. He’s cooked!
