I'm really rooting for Joe to have success at Akron. Turning them around would be a fantastic accomplishment.

The idiocy of people calling for JF to be fired in 2016 shows the uneducated fools MANY of our fans are. Morehead was an awesome OC. He could've built an awesome legacy had he stayed, but I get the draw to be a HC.

I think most MSU fans liked Moorehead but he forgets to mention his predecessor left him a full cupboard and one of the best defenses nationally. He prides himself on play calling to the players' strengths so no one viewed it as 'rebuilding' when he got hired unlike Leach. He really couldn't make in game adjustments if things didn't go to his pregame script. You could tell in the first 2 or 3 drives in the game if it was going to be a rough day. Ultimately the off field issues did him in, it honestly looked like he was losing control of the team. I wish him well and hope he can turn the zips around. Being a head coach at a power 5 is drastically different. It's less about x and o's and more administration and politicking to alumni boosters. He is a good recruiter. You really need coordinators/support staff you can trust or know you can play call and handle everything else behind the scenes that most other coaches don't have to stress about as much.
