defo a good move going to the 220, I've never really understood why the easy pod exists to be fair, K1 is a moving bed media, K1 standstill is only good for mechanical filtration just like its used in the 220/320 and the tempest to collect waste which is not a good environment for beneficial bacteria, an easy pod in my opinion should only be advertised as a prefilter for a shower etc but as it is personally I think it's useless as a biofilter. I've seen a few people fit a UV where you have mentioned on the nexus but the only issue is that material the filter is made of is not uv resistant neither is the rubber boot connected to the inlet, the easy pod with the uv has a black pipe sleeving to protect the main body of the filter from the lamp drying it out, there's another youtuber (can't remember the channel) on here that fitted it to the exit chamber of the filter which is just stupid as the uv is shining through the grill blasting his bio media which is probably contributing to him finding a dead fish every week.

Thanks Mike. I’ve got a solution for the UV. I bought a commercial one with a job lot of gear a while ago. I’d forgotten I had it. Interesting on the eazypod. I’ve used them for a good while now and always found them to be very good. That’s koi keeping for you. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤣👍🏼
