No Banger sound design/ medicore sound quality ... poor so extended useless synth.. For pads/strings I recommend - OMNISPHERE 2.8, / for great leads poly synths -HIVE 2.0 and DUNE3, / for Analogue bass - REPRO 5/1, /Plucks and other sounds - SPIRE 1,5, ... there was great times of NEXUS 2 in the past... these versions 3 and above are a peace of crap. Do not install them.

Thank you for the Video, but you forget to mention one very important fact about Nexus 3. Nexus 3 licensing turn out to be a simply customer fraud (NO perpetual license at all). You pay for a perpetual license, but you get only a one-month valid "subscription" license. You have to be at less once a month online to renew the license, or Nexus 3 will STOP working! Such strong dependence on the manufacturer & being online are for me absolutely unacceptable!

Really enjoy watching your videos. I'm just starting out. I wish that I was closer to my first cousin to learn more about mixing and recording. He was a recording engineer for years in New York. I at least have a music background from playing Trombone in my high school marching band, symphony band and jazz band. I just need to learn how to play the piano. My cousin Lane Craven has all kinds of interesting stories of his time as a recording engineer. He's worked with some of the greats like Jay Z, Puff Daddy, Notorious B.I.G., etc.

Yes Nexus 2 expansion work in Nexus 3.

All libraries for NEXUS2 are compatible with NEXUS3, but require some additional updates to add some extra functionality. Libraries are scanned and updated automatically.

Hey Sonaper... honesty is the only way i roll... its tough to say... I LOVE ALL 3 LOVE!! But it really comes down to preference Omnisphere is one of the best but so is the triton VST.. Nexus doesn't have all the sounds that you would find in the other 2 vst's... I use nexus all the time though... I would recommend picking one... make some beats sell them and make enough money to purchase another vst if not both.. good luck!

- SweetScale TV - I had Nexus 2 and it’s a good VST don’t get me wrong, but the way they worded the expansion capabilities (Nexus 2 expansion packs will work) but they conveniently left out that not 3rd party packs would be converted after I upgraded 😂 kinda rubbed me the wrong way and now I’m missing out on sounds (All purchased btw). Omnisphere is a better bang for the buck imo, i respect your pov also tho, I still use it.... just not happy with my purchase decision
