Good review Andy. I've been following the Nexus 6P for the last month now and I have the 32GB Graphite version on Pre-order. I currently use the Nexus 5 and it has been a very good phone for the last two years and as you'll know it uses an IPS LCD screen. However, this will be the first time I use a device that has an AMOLED display and I have seen a couple of reviews now about screen burning within days of using this device. This is something I'm rather concerned about to be honest so my question to you is, how susceptible do you think the N6P will be to screen burn in and have you seen any on your own device as of yet? This is something I simply won't tolerate and I will pursue a replacement each time it occurs, if at all. I really don't want to head down the N5X route but I will if I get screen burn on a regular occasion. Just one other thing, when you put the brightness up to 100% did you make sure the adaptive brightness was disabled, as this often makes the display duller? Thanks. :)

I also am worried about the burn in at the nav bar, but I recently read something about a workaround to this problem over at XDA. Something called gmd hidebar. Have you ever heard of this, or maybe even tried it? I'm thinking about doing this when my 6p gets here. Just thought I would mention it, it's worth a try, right?

+lennonroey No, didn't check the adaptive brightness, was bit of a spur of the moment thing. I've had many AMOLED screens, never noticed screen burn. Will see how this goes.

It's a nice looking device Andy and I actually like the camera panel on the back but I don't like stock android. Nice unboxing mate.

+Ryan Darcy Really? That's an interesting comment that I didn't expect to see. Who's flavour of Android do you prefer?

I actually like LG,s Andy, I know that lots of people love the stock android experience but for me it's too Plain Jane and just personal choice. I can't have the Samsung either though as its slow and laggy!

I can understand that. I think in my review I comment that I like most of LG's additions. On the other hand, I think Android has developed well and it's quite well featured in itself these days.

He struggles for like 20 seconds trying to get it out the box, when there is a distinguished tab that calls to be pulled. IDK why but this drove me crazy...

Turn off adaptive brightness bro. That isn't the max brightness of the 6P.

Annoying that the EU version has all the markings at the bottom of the phone ;(

+Andrew Palmer WIth the Graphite I really don't think you can see them. Right now I have to look hard from different angles to see them (low light in my room)
