Whoever knows this kind of music, particularly Oda Hiroyuki, knows well and foremost that he is an INTEMPORAL artist. ^w^

I can not stop listening to this. HSP has such a wonderful way of sprinkling chords and interludes way before the main chorus hits. You can just feel it coming.

Clean Tears and Bernis are also good at this imo.

Oldskool bass beats. Back in the days, early 2000's, we had them in Europe too. K-System, Guardian Angel, for example. I was a 13 or 14 year old kid when that came out, now 10 years later, I still know the song and listen to it every once in a while. Back then I was still able to be a little proud of European music, now they rarely produce good stuff here. Good to hear people like Hiroyuki are bringing such beats back, with their own Japanese twists. But I'll keep the old ones I still know in honour. When I'm a bit older, and finished with some stuff, maybe I'll play them a bit. And maybe I could even make some. HSP is highly impressive though, takes it all to an entirely new level. Europe's entirely lost it since dubstep was introduced, kind of. The Japanese are much better at making music, especially these days, the last 15-20 years or maybe I'd say.

Why I prefer J-music is because they have those more calming music which I need to calm myself after a day at work. Also the bass is much more better. But dunno why my mates jut call me a fag for listening to Japanese music, they just love too much Euro/American/Korean stuff to the point they'll label everyone else as a "fag" fornot following their trend. Kinda makes me feel sad as they truly don't know how to appreciate other art forms, they just don't give Japanese music a chance.

I feel ya. As a little kid I listened a lot to European trance music in the early 2000s but over the years I lost interest for the contemporary stuff mostly. Then I got introduced to the Japanese scene through ZTS and it really gave me that nostalgic feeling of those early 2000s trance that I missed in modern day 'Western' trance scene. Overall I find the Japanese stuff much more engrossing than any western stuff of the last years.

d#rKDragon3s 32 I might be a little late to this, but I was introduced to dubstep a couple years ago, and that was all I listened to for a while. Then I started to move through all the similar genres to the heavier stuff, and now I'm back to this. Nothing like a simple bass track with simple melodies added onto it. I might check out some music if you can recommend some. Anything?

music like this should be playing in the backgrounds of anime conventions, not mainstream western music, nor K-pop... people keep missing the point of those conventions/events/festivals.

This is so cool. Kanzaki Hiro drew Oreimo, which has Nexus produced for it by Kz. And then remixed by HSP. My favourite two people.

Remixes are not as appreciated as much, and sometimes they are even better than the original versions. Zts' version of Emiya from Fate is a godly trance remix.
