Well I got mine yesterday, and the plastic material has split at the top corner, and the stitching has come unravelled. I feel the product has been rushed and not thought out. Maybe Bonsalopes and Propdog are not very well known outside the UK because why a wallet would be designed not fit them makes no sense to me. Shame as it has a lot to offer, just cheaply made. redo this in leather, allow it to fit a Bonsalope, this could then be a great product. On the subject of fake leather, I had the Razor wallet, from Dee Christopher, it was my daily carry for over a year, and was made using fake leather, and when I sold it (I got the Shadow) it was as good as new, so some fake leather would appear to be quality.

Hi bought one, I returned it because it split exactly like James said. In the tutorial they refer to the leather wallet and it isn't leather. Where mine was split you could see the white thread running through it and it was obviously a cheap material. However as James pointed out it is versatile. I don't want to carry a wallet for card to wallet and one for peeks etc. So this would be ideal for the price they could have made it slightly higher spec. Also it doesn't look like a magicians wallet from the past.

I agree, mine did the same, they are sending a new one, but I don't expect longevity from it. It needs rebuilding from the ground up, and to fit a Bonsalope.

Great review. I think for me the biggest issue would be that the wallet is made of plastic and not real leather. The tearing around the clip would not happen with better material. I wish you would emphasized that it is not real leather . For $110 I would expect nothing less. I would certainly consider paying this amount for real leather, not vinyl.

Thanks for the detailed review James, greatly appreciated. I’m my opinion I just don’t like the zip, it looks like something from the 80s/90s. I can’t remember seeing a normal wallet in recent years with that big brass type zipper. Also, I think it just offers to much.

Based on your complaints, it seems it would be difficult to get billets in there, as in, you cannot load it in the open as a SUC principle? That's really more of what I wanted out of the wallet, well... I definitly wanted the peek, but not many sort of EDC wallets seem to have both features

Definitely not saying you can’t feed in Billets - it should be no problem but would need a slider perhaps out of black plastic to ease the process. Or use pen as a opening of the wallet to find where to put it in inside your wallet. Billets should definitely be easier than playing cards and like a ring easier to drop in. As for loading in the open it is achievable probably under the cover of a business card or something but perhaps not as convenient as it could be.

Incredibly honest review that I appreciate. I’m concerned about the wallet material being “vegan leather” or vinyl. A real leather wallet is stronger and feels like you bought something of great value. I agree I love the peek feature in this wallet. But the peek in the shadow wallet is just as good and of a much better made wallet in my opinion. Thank you for the review. The wear and literal tear in the clip is a big concern for the price.

I use the Jardonnet Wallet for walk around inside jacket card to pocket... My favorite card to wallet from back pocket is still an unbranded simple but large insert wallet with zip on the inside I think cost about £15 10 years ago!. Occasionally I have used the JOC Wallets for stage and for walk-around where I need the prediction inside an envelope.

Not sure about this company; customer service seems very lacking; you can only communicate through a chat, no email, and then hear nothing.

We only do online chat because too many enquiries were getting missed through the many channels ie fb messenger, fb page, whatsapp, website email and so on. By creating 1 central location our customer service has dealt with way more enquiries more efficiently. And yes that includes no phone. We usually reply within 24 hours if we cannot make the chat so apologies if we have somehow missed an enquiry from yourself? Kindest regards Anthony

Let's just say it...this should be a $40 wallet at MOST. I for one am SO tired of paying for inferior "hyped" magic that is just poorly made, regardless of the creative "magic" infused, if the end product is showing wear out of the box that is unacceptable on many levels. A wallet should be real leather...period. If this truly bothers the vegan magicians out there, then don't do wallet effects.

Bought this wallet in the unlawful lockdowns. Didn’t have chance to perform to anyone. Practised in house, then it fell apart. Not real leather and it won’t last. I’ve got it. If anyone wants a pile of shit for nothing, msg me and you can pay for postage for basically a worn sock
