I think I finally found the next helmet to have as a secondary helmet to my RPHA 11 Carbon! Especially the Gold version of this model, looks freaking amazing, in my eyes even better than the Pista GP from AGV, it is cheaper, better equipped and will probably be quieter as well.

What a handsome helmet, im thinking about this or the XWST 3 on your site. Any huge difference between the two? I run a shark spartan gt pro in XXL but its getting a bit loose on my head now without a headsock. Id like something with good airflow for AZ summers.

The XR3R is more racing oriented in terms of riding position and feature set. Both have excellent build quality. The XR3R is lighter and ECE 22.06 certified (most recent safety spec). Do you mind filling us in on what type of riding you're doing and how frequently? That will help us make a proper recommendation.

Hi, How would you describe the fit of these helmets? I’m about a 58.. would a medium suit me ok? I’m considering the plain white version or this color. Do they ship with the black visor or just clear? Thanks!

Hey Adam, Medium should be on the money for you. Remember you want the fit to be very snug out of the box (without causing discomfort) and allow for 10-15% break in. The carbon fiber XR3R helmets come with both smoke and clear shields. The slightly less expensive composite shell XR3R's come with just the clear. Hope this helps!

Hey Keith - Great question! The Carbon Fiber models come with the smoke shield and clear. The composite (less expensive) come only with the clear. Smoke and transition shields are both available to purchase on their own.

Hi you say it flows tons of air. The forehead inlets do they flow air onto your forehead or not? Since i didn't see airflow holes, ... In the lining. Really looking for a racinghelmet that vents very well, if possible with flow to forehead. I REALLY like MT helmets, unfortunately the Kre got a bit wider, hence the XS didn't fit me as snug as previous MT helmets I owned. Still good enough for now, but...

The EPS liner has ducts in the forehead. You'll also notice extreme ducting and porting in the crown. This helmet indeed flows a TON of air. The XR3R has exceeded our expectations in every way and will be included in our top Racing Helmets of 2023 showcase.

I bought the helmet yesterday. Plain white with smoke visor (didn't check the iridium red IRL cause it's too vulnerable for track use) and gonna wrap the spoiler addition in white (didn't look right in carbon). Can't wait to see/feel the difference to my KRE... Too shame they don't (yet?) have a full white carbon or more colorfull designs. I read somewhere that the helmet with the 2nd spoiler attached doesn't fit in the bag, but it does. Quite easily. Really cool they used 3 screws for the spoiler too!

You should be able to install a comm unit with no issue.

⚠That is not normal. It's likely you purchased the helmet form a foreign dealer. These dealers are typically located in Europe and their inventories are not DOT homologated and thus not street legal in the USA. Additionally these non-DOT helmets are NOT covered by Nexx's warranty in the USA. You will also have a heck of a time exchanging or returning if you have any fitment issues. If you are located in America, Speed Addicts always recommends purchasing from Nexx helmets from domestic dealers. Speed Addicts offers the entire Nexx catalog with full warranty and free returns. Don't be fooled, but those too good to be true prices from foreign dealers.⚠

Hey Rob, those bad boys are so if EMS needs to remove the cheek pads safely and not move a rider's head the cheek pads can be removed with minimal movement, hope that helps!
