Neymar only played 22 league games last year, and Messi played even less. Plus they didn't get the full 90 minutes in some of these appearances. If they were both fully fit, and played a full season they likely would have scored a lot more goals.

If you trick around, step over the ball 5 times but than play the ball back to your teammates, it looks stupid and pretentious. CR7 was a master of that. Messi just went by 3 defenders with ease whereas Ronaldo did 5 step overs in front of an opponent and then back heeled the ball back to defence. Nobody is impressed by that ...

I really don’t get it. If the point is to showcase their amazing skills then why not just grab a camera, head down to your local park or the garden and do your tricks?
