No offense just constructive criticism. You guys should play soccer, both of you for a while, or any other sport which you guys are critiquing in order to know what its really like for players like Neymar to do the moves they do in the game. One of you guys said he would have dodged when Neymar rainbowed him. First of all Neymar has to have that move mastered to an extent to have the ball land where he wants it to land, anybody can do a rainbow but to bring it up to the height which he does and to the point where he lands may require much more practice. Second, the people which he is going against are considered good/experienced soccer players and they are able to predict or execute passes or moves which makes the game maybe faster past than you think. Like one of you said the move is not usual therefore the defender is not prepared to react to the rainbow as he is to others. And the ability to do such moves in such a level is the reason Neymar is above average.

Na Neymar is definitely the Kyrie of soccer. Both played with a top 2 player of all time and won a “ring”, then left to another pretty good team to leave the others’ shadow. Also both got arguably the best handles/skills. The only difference is Neymar is like a top 5 player while kyrie is more like top 20

The reason why some consider Ronaldinho tricks as magic and Neymar's tricks as disrespectful is BC Dinho most of the time did it as part of the development of the game. after or while dribbling the adversary he either used to run forward or to assist/pass to someone who was strategically positioned to attack/strike. It means the man had VISION. Not always but most of the times Neymar did his tricks wasting the team's opportunity to advance forward, passing the ball to a player in the midfield, what makes it feel as unnecessary. He improved that as he gained more vision over the last seasons. He is talented as hell but that alone does not make anyone goat. I still believe however that we're still about to see the best version of the man. ( I watch him play since he was 17, I'm a Brazilian Santos fan haha)

About the diving.. Imagine a strong defender hitting your ankle at 20mph, as they are locked in the grass with the cleats. If he doesnt jump, and take 2-3-4 tackles like that in a game. Busted ankles. The worst injuries in football come from guys hitting other guys as they have their feet locked in the grass. Knees, ankles, tendons. Its just a defensive mechanism that players with a lot of skill have to develop in order to try and stay health from all the hits.

Reason of why the flop is dramatic is because there's a lot of people in the stadium that the noise of the crowd is too loud so the players need to exaggerate because the ref can't hear them, so they make the flop exaggerated, from our perspective (TV) we be like aaahh that was nothing but from their side is hard and difficult to see what really when in so the flop helps a bit lol
