Backflip tips: - On your take off for the backflip, make sure your arms are swinging all the way past your head (arms should be stretched out behind ears on take off). This will give you more height and also make it way easier to rotate - When you tuck in, make sure you try and squeeze your legs into your chest hard which will make your rotation much faster.

Hi Harry. Try to start with your arms up and when you swing them down try to get lift your heels a bit. Then when swinging your arms up again, you bring your heels to the ground, to give you more power in the jump. Personally, this works for me as my movement troughout the backflip feels smooth.

1. Start standing up straight with arm by your ears 2. Swing your arms down and bend your knees (no more than 90 degrees) 3. Jump as high as you can and swing your arms back up to your ears. Tuck legs in tight, and keep head in a neutral posistion 4. Land with legs slightly bent to absorb some impact Something that could help is to get someone like josh to support you, he would put one hand on your lower back and one the back of your thigh. The when you jump he would push you in the direction of your spin. Hope this helps, from a gymnastics coach :)

With regards to the back flip: your height is fine u just need to get that rotation faster. To do this u need to go from straight to tuck quicker with more of what I call a “snap” and it also helps if u r more tucked as the smaller u make yourself the faster the rotation will be 👍

Well you have to do a full extension with your head forward. By that I mean when you go for it you pull your arms upp, but you stop at the top, instead you want to pull them all the way. That will give you a more explosive jump, and after you reach your full extension, then you sould try to bring your knees over your head, not just to your chest. So full extension and then knees over your head
