I always feel like a broken record, but Im going to say it anyway--I LOVE the way syd vlogs. Down to try food at least once, even if she's not a fan of everything (as a picky eater myself, I feel SO seen); buying things and then feeling lowkey pressured to buy stuff b/c it can be awkward as hell and then not loving it after you buy it (I usually end up giving stuff away to friends T_T); and just being so honest about the little ups and downs t/o the trip. Always refreshing, always a fan

The hard rice most likely was suppose to be the last thing after u finish ur udon and ur meat and theres some leftover soup and u put it in and its kinda like a mixture of fried rice/porridge and its called scorched rice i believe. Most likely they thought u didnt knew what the food was so they offered to fried the rice and u could maybe takeaway as leftovers lol.
