As Nick searches for a way out of the van, he realizes all of the doors are locked. He begins to scrape at the metal siding, making a hole in the side of the van. As he pries the metal open, he looks up. It's like suddenly, he felt alright. After being so uncontrollable, so insane for so long, just seeing Judy, his best friend standing there, was enough to break the glass in his mind. For once in a very long time, he was seeing clearly again.

Nick gazes coldly at the bear cowering before him. He tilts his head slowly to the side, wondering if he should spare him or not. The torn rags of what used to be a straightjacket cling to his body. He looks up, and takes a step towards the door, the cold, black metal that is his foot clanking with the sound of the metal floor of the truck. He didn’t know what happened, he only knew that he had a chance to escape. He slides his tongue over his teeth. They are sharp, metal, and quite lethal, as he’s recently learned. His gaze looks over the door, looking for a handle. He smiles to himself. Of course there is no door handle. He reaches his lanky, jet back, mechanical claws into the crack of the door. The whole truck seems to groan. Even though he has healed, the action hurt his wrist pretty badly. He glances at the part where the metal has been sewn to his skin. He digs in deeper, causing a horrible screech from the truck, or his claws, he has no idea. He pries the metal apart like it is clay. The hole is big enough to look through, now, and he can see a starry night sky. Then, like a shot to the head, he sees her. A perfect little bunny standing politely before the door as if waiting at the airport. His eyes widen as his heart quickens. He barely hears her as her lips move, “Hey, you.”
