Hey Nezar I had an idea for a hard challenge where you and a group of friends makes a mobile convoy where you use only cars to transport all your gear and you can only build a place to leave the cars when afk. You travel around the map like raiders collecting and raiding bases and seeing how long you can exist before your cars all destroyed.

Watching him and some of these other guys play makes me realize im hardcore lvl 1 when they are max lvl lol. I get excited to find a fucking mag for the rifle/smg i have on me these dudes running around with full kits in what feels like 5 mins. Granted i think they play on servers with some easy trader access too buy stuff and sell stuff for money while im wanting to play more for the survival part of the game.

BTW I'm not sure if this was updated or not but all toxic zones have a height cap so the Rify Toxic zone will have a gasless area at the very top of the ship where you can have 0 NBC gear on and not get sick. I'm pretty sure just the very top though, so building a base there would be very visible from anywhere around.

The trick with a base like that is to just use it as a loot bunker. Lock it up and operate out of someplace with PVP and you never have to worry about getting raided.

Really? Consider checking JLK out. The latest upload was an absolute banger. He's actually done about two partial collabs with JLK. One video is on this channel and the other his own. I find Nezar to be more action orientated. He's downright impressive when it comes to showing off raw skill. JLK leans heavily on telling a gripping story and is quite the battlefield strategist of note. If you like one then I can guarantee you'll like the other. Personally, I don't bother with any other DayZ youtubers besides these.

Finally someone has built a base in a permanent toxic zone. I’ve not only been saying that I’ve tried to build 1 in a toxic zone on official on consoles but I’ve also never been able to live long enough to get it established for one reason or another or other people taking everything I’ve got stored in hidden loot caches to collect nbc gear and what not. I’ve been on multiple Twitch streams talking about doing this and you’re the first to literally build in the toxic zone successfully, that I’ve heard of or, seen, at least your on a computer and using a modded community server with some of the best base building mods, and with the new capability to make a charcoal filter I really don’t understand why anyone hasn’t tried there really isn’t a reason not to when playing on a community modded server any longer. I will still continue to try to build a base in a toxic zone on official on a console, and as always you have some great videos to watch....

A tip to my vanilla players out there: If you live on a server with at least 1 or 2 large friendly factions or lots of small friendly factions, I can't recommend becoming an explosives dealer enough. People are lazy and don't want to do the hard work to get their raiding supplies, and with the new update explosives are in higher demand than ever. For example, my tiny 3 man group in the 2 days the update had been out has went from a tiny nobody group to a decently rich group making transactions with the most powerful players in our server. All we do is take an account and spend like an hour cycling Tisy MB and we'll have like 5 40mm boom boom shells and 10 grenades/mines/claymores. Do this is a few times a day and boom, you're rich. Sell them off for high trade price and now you're more powerful than you ever could have imagined. Over time people may start rely on your product and you could end up with a level of control over the server. For best results, have a base/stash around Tisy. We have a base in Novaya Petrovka

@@Green1e98 you'd be suprised what a 2-3 man group can do. We are constructing a huge base in the novaya petrovka school. It actually only takes one gate to secure a rather large section of the buildiny and you can just keep adding more. We got most our supplies by either finding it, or trading for it. Some other good spots are: Top of cherno industrial tower or other towers of that same type, vybor industrial buildings, piano buildings (theres one in like every town so it gives you options), any school building, I can't stress this one enough: BARNS. They take 2 gates to secure but have room for like a billion walls. They have tons of interior room and it's easy to make multiple outposts or just focus on one mega base. There's one guy on my server who's a solo that has like 6 barns in the area north of NWAF secured and he's crazy rich. Im on a console US official server. Hope this helps

@@Green1e98 one thing that needs to be said though is if you choose a barn, have multiple barn outposts. Due to the new explosives, raiding got a whole lot easier so having lots of walls is key. That's not to say they're not a good option though as walls did also get buffed insanely. With a barn, depending on the type you can have up to 6ish gates in a larger barn, but that doesn't leave you a TON of room for loot. If you use barrels tho you'll be fine

eh. you’d probably be better off using the explosives. people on vanilla rarely have more than 4-5 gates and the plastic explosives have a chance to splash behind the gate.

This game is so good looking. It checks off so many of the things I look for in a game - but I don't think I'll ever play it. (Rust ruined me for pvp games as a solo player) However, I can still love this game through watching your videos of it. You're a great story teller and your content is always entertaining! i started solo and have played solo for 1 year now. I've built bases on official that have lasted 2 to 3 weeks. gone on 14 kill runs been across the whole map been to the airfields. had great interaction got killed at first had to learn alot. but day z is a little more stealthy then rust. if u get jumped by a team on rust you will probably be in some massive open field with barely any buildings or cover. day z has like 10s of thousands of enterable buildings. u can make sneaky escapes or say u are in the woods there dense. so u can escape or hide dip in some bushes wait for them to run past then sneak back the way they came. use positional strategy rather then just relying on on reaction time. like get a great angle vantage point loop round the back of them and come from behind. u can even use zombies to break up you're fight with 2 players or distract them.

and tbh I play solo I could play with friends. but I never have or do. i like to fully focus be in control of where I'm going make the decisions and strategy's my self. and I'm also very active while playing no messing around. makes me not a great companion which is shame because I love interactions. but at the same time I'm more formidable in 1v1s. and am more ready to get jumped by a squad and survive.
