Thanks Dave, enjoyed the review even though I'd never be in the market for anything at this price point. I'm somewhat amazed at the sorts of gimmicks the chi-fi brands come out with and always wonder who would ever spend $750 for something that in 4 months time will be yesterday's novelty iem.

At 750.00 they should come with better sets of tips that will work for everyone. You had to go to the foams just to get a good fit. (granted I have a set like that as well and went to foams for a good fit) That said, they seem different from what's out there right now and the info you provided may help those who were looking at these to help with a purchase/no purchase.

The cable and tip selection are somewhat of a bummer but thankfully there are good 3rd party alternatives that compliment the NE4.

Off topic How do you rate and compare Meze Alba vs Tanjhim Kara please ? Sources are EPZ TP-50 decently powerful dongle and xduoo xd-05 plus also Not able to decide between those two iems

Alba is an all-around listen and the Kara is a stage monitor. The Kara has slightly better details and resolution. The Alba has a bassier, warmer, thicker presentation.
