@catboatd I highly recommend the GoPro HD if you haven't already bought one. I prefer the 720p@60fps setting. It's so fluid. I finally got the money to buy one recently and haven't had a chance to get any rafting shots but the mtn biking shots I've gotten are great. I'm curious if the chest mount I'm making for biking would be a good angle for rafting or not. It shows the height of the things in front of you better than the helmet and absorbs shock.

Yet another reason I need a GoProHD helmet cam this spring. How did you set up a tripod? I want to do this for all of my favorite stretches.
