I see what you are saying about wanting him to go in with another verse at the end of a lot songs but NF is supposed to be artist that gives you a lot to think about. That’s why after he’s goes in throughout the whole song he leaves a very calming ending so you can think about whatever you are going through. That’s why NF has such a devoted fan base because so many of the fans connect with him on a emotional level. Yeah he’s amazing when he’s hype but where he stand out to a lot of us is his slower more thought provoking songs. The emotion is where it hits a lot of us. Love the reactions. Keep them up :)

The reason on breathe that the ending went the way it did, was literally to breathe. The song was for self reflection. Thus when it goes calm, it is for self reflection. It wasnt about dropping bats or getting hyped. I think this song is fantastic if you understand the reason for it. It wasnt meant to just be calm, but to be for self reflection

I'm like you, silence is deafening to me, all I'm left with is chaos in my brain. Other noise drowns or distracts it. I have to sleep with a fan on too for the noise.

I didn't like this song at first, but it grew on me. It's great to put you in a calm mood when you're feeling overwhelmed, I love the background noises. I'm with you on the racing mind, I have to have music on or I will think about everything from what I did wrong today to what I ate for lunch in Kindergarten lol

I have to have background noise to fall asleep. 15 years driving a big rig does that to you. When I’m home I need a fan blowing and the tv on. If I could find one of those vibrating beds from the hotels in the 70’s I would get it. The motor in my truck really puts me out. As for this song, the loudest thing in silence is the voice in your head. All the rabbit holes you can follow get minimized with outside noise, at least for me.

Music is my sanity both songs are good. I pretty much grew up on Toby Mac and NF has been my favorite artist for a while, so when Til The Day I Die came out I nearly lost it lol.

Dylan Landry glad his experiment with autotune did keep going. I saw an interview with NF and he mentioned Moments was alot of experimenting trying to figure out his sound/style.

I think a lot can relate to what you are saying. It takes me a long time to fall asleep because my brain won't shut up. I do need a fan on to fall asleep, even in the winter. No matter the song, I'll catch ya tomorrow.

I just barely got a medication for anxiety and depression. My mind is like a steamroller at night. Overactive. I can be so fatigued where I am passing out at the computer, crawl into bed, and be wide awake. It's very uncomfortable to be so tired but can't fall asleep. Thank you, anxiety. Instead of a tv, I use one of those box fans you can buy for 20$. Quiet is violent. I totally get you.

I absolutely cannot sleep in the silence, my mind is a very loud and dangerous place when I’m left alone with my thoughts. I totally understand needing the tv on to sleep, I’ve done it for years haha I’ll lay there for hours and stress out about things that don’t even matter to the point of giving myself anxiety attacks or another cycle of depression that lasts for months at a time. I need that sound to sleep 😅
