Whewwww.. I’ve been outside on the porch chillin and listening to NF, and while this song has been playing, I felt the Holy Spirit here with me. I’ve been staring at this tree that has lost its leaves, and as I was reminded of a post I’d earlier seen on Facebook, I was thinking about how the tree is not dead, just going through changes, and it will grow again and the leaves will come back, but new. As I thought the word change, the lyrics of this song mirrored my thoughts, and I felt the presence of God all over. And then I seen a comment referencing the lyric mentioning suicide and talking to God, and again, the Holy Spirit surrounded me in a wave. I will always love your music, man. And I’m so thankful for it, and for God working through people. Music and poetry have always been a lifeline for me, and now that I have Christ I’ve learned to rely on God and to feel the music instead of looking for it to save me. To respond to your questions of "is it bad to _" 1. You need to define morally 'bad' 2. What is the foundation for your moral standard of what is good and bad? If you say yourself, my question is could you be wrong? If you have another standard let me know. And let me know how you define bad. I am resting on the foundation of Jesus Christ for all wisdom and knowledge, for by him and through him and to him are all things. Nothing that was made, was made apart from him. He created all things. That is my foundation. This is why I can say with certainty that Lust, or having an unhealthy addiction is wrong, because we were created in the moral image of God and when we do these things we dishonour his character. You can not forgive yourself with a 'jewish guy' You cannot forgive yourself at all, because you are not the one you are morally accountable to, it is God who you are accountable to as an image bearer of *him* Jesus is God manifest in the flesh, who humbled himself and walked among his creation and was obedient to death, even death on a cross. There is no other name under heaven given amongst men by which we must be saved.
