I met this girl recently and she's amazing, one of a kind really. She's deeply Christian and I'm Atheist. I have never believed in God or Christ but this girl didn't turn her back on me. She invited me to her church Sunday week ago even knowing I wasn't for me. Since then Iv'e been thinking more and more about God and faith, which has lead me to NF. This song makes more sense to me than anything any preacher has ever tried to force on me. With her understanding and willing to invite me into the church plus NF's words, Iv'e started considering I may of been wrong about Bible and God. When asked "Why didn't God bring you into my life 6 months ago when I could of used you then?" She replied with "It wasn't the right time. I would of made things worse rather than better." That hit me hard. Thinking 6 months back, she's right. I wasn't ready for her then, now I am. God puts people in your life when the time is right, not when we think we need them. This opened my mind up to the possibility that God has always been there with me, just this is the first time, iv'e seen his work in action.

This is right on the money. I recently discovered NF’s music and it’s like God put this super talented artist music in my life when I needed it the most. I also play guitar and write songs and turned 40 in January and NF has reinspired me to push myself harder and not worry about what others think only what God thinks! I recently totaled my truck and God spared my life and a few days ago my dog Courage was hit and killed by a car and I had him since a pup. He was like a child to me that loved me no matter what and was only 8-1/2 yrs old. I’ve lost Family n Friends but losing my best friend that was there with me through the deepest darkest depression and his Love and needing me to take care of Saved my Life! I don’t know why God called him home but I know he’s in Heaven and just have to keep praying and putting God first in my Life and pray for Strength Love Mercy Grace Peace and Forgiveness! God is changing me and I pray throughout the day just to make it through the day. I thank god for my health, the food and water he provides, the roof over my head and the health, love and goodness in my heart. I thank him everyday for simply giving me another day. I always had this feeling, since I was a little kid I thought God was supposed to help us whenever we wanted but eventually I understood that God gave us the biggest gift , LIFE. He helps us everyday to get throughout the day, and in the end when we are not happy with what’s given we give up and blame God. But we must understand that its our decisions that help us get where we want , what we want and how we want to deal with our problems. God will be always for us , but you don’t stay everyday and wait for what God is going to give you. You have to search and maybe suffer to get what you want , and later on when you realize that you are finally following your dreams , you want to thank God for everything and for every pain that brought you where you wanted.

I feel like this song is sung from a believers point of view and non believer at the same time. Most belivers do tend to put all their trust in God in their own good way of thier own view when really it is up to God to decide whether it is good or not and most believers tend to forget about that and when something bad happens and goes wrong yeah they do blame God and most of the time because they thought it was God's will or God giving them the signs and privilege to try and do things when really they try to control their own will without knowingly. A true believer knows and understand that yeah we do have free will but at the same time we also really don't because there are certain things and ways a believer must do and act like by displaying him or her self as christ like.
